The best juicer for most people, a great choice for anyone!
I am giving this five stars because I think that it is a fantastic juicer option for most people, although for me I prefer the Omega 8004 that I already had before buying this. I will explain in more detail:First, if you are considering a centrifugal juicer, or any more typical high-speed juicer, stop right now and buy this one instead. This is a MUCH better option than those as the juice will be much higher quality and more healthy due to the lower speed processing causing less oxidation. You will enjoy the taste of the juice so much more! It's comparatively easy to clean, and works well enough for just about anything you can throw into it. It's also easier to use than single auger juicers like the Omega 8004 or twin auger juicers like the Tribest Green Star, because things don't need pressed down into it nearly as often. It produces juice faster than those as well. It's especially nice for juicing fruits that don't do as well in horizontal auger juicers. But if you're a real juice connoisseur, or juice a lot of greens, you won't want this as your only juicer, because it does not get quite as much juice out of things as the auger juicers which produce a drier pulp and higher quantity of juice. This juicer WILL handle those things okay, just not quite as well. Also you need to be sure to chop up anything with strands like celery or some leafy greens, or else the place where the pulp comes out will get clogged up and the juicer won't be working correctly until you get it clear. It's difficult to clear without taking the juicer apart as it's a narrow opening and due to the shape, and if you open the juicer while it's full of stuff that means a lot goes to waste. It's a lesson you learn once though and it's not hard to be careful about, but this additional preparation needed sort of offsets the added ease it has with things like fruits.I personally have found myself using this juicer only when I want to juice fruits, which isn't as often. I usually like a few apples or cucumbers in with a green juice, so in those cases I sometimes use both this juicer (for the fruits) and the 8004 (for the greens), but then there's additional cleanup required so it only makes sense if I'm making a lot of juice. Another approach that would probably work well would be to just put everything through the VRT and then run all the pulp through the 8004 to squeeze out additional juice. Or if you have a press juicer, that would work great on the pulp as well (I have a manual press juicer as well and have sometimes even used it on the 8004's pulp for maximum yield, so it is worth consideration). This juicer does not work well for reprocessing it's own pulp, which is something you can do fairly effectively with the 8004. The 8004 is also simpler to assemble, disassemble, and clean, though this one really isn't bad either. The juice does come out somewhat more pulpy on this juicer than the 8004, however if you want a really smooth pulp-free juice then I would recommend simply running the juice through a mesh strainer (stir it around with a spoon when it gets clogged) for either juicer. I have made fantastic juice using either the VRT or 8004 in conjunction with a simple mesh strainer. Again to the point that this juicer is more optimized for fruits, I think that the pulp is good in fruit juice, but I prefer to strain it from green/combination juices.I highly recommend the 8004 if you are serious about juicing and don't mind that it takes a little more time and isn't as good with juicy fruits (it will still do juicy fruits but can get backed up a bit until you run something else through, so it's best to alternate the input). It is the best juicer I have used to date for my needs and wants. I highly recommend this VRT juicer if you are new to juicing, only have a centrifugal juicer now, will juice mostly fruits, care about saving time juicing over getting maximum yield, or have a press juicer. I believe that the build quality on this juicer is better than the VRT400 as well, and it costs less, so until there is a newer VRT model which addresses some issues the 400 has, this is the best vertical auger juicer on the market in my opinion.Personally I care about juice quality and high yield most. My next juicer purchase will be a Green Star Elite and I have high hopes in it suiting my needs well, although I can understand many people getting frustrated with it or even the 8004, especially if they are used to the speed of a centrifugal juicer. The VRT is a great balance and I would recommend this first to family and friends unless I knew they were really serious about juicing - I will probably end up giving the 350VRT to my grandmother who uses a centrifugal juicer now. Omega is a great company and I have been very pleased with both of their products that I own.Lastly, if you are budget-constrained and will probably only ever get one juicer, this is the one to get. Don't waste your money on anything less, and don't spend more money on something that you may end up frustrated with and not using often because it's too slow to use. This is a great juicer!UPDATE: In my quest for the best juice possible, I started using the blank plate with the 8004 to simply masticate produce, and then pressed all of the moist mash with the Welles Press juicer. This made much better juice and I ended up returning the VRT since it has no way to do this, and had more pulp left in the juice it did produce. I am leaving this product reviewed with 5 stars because I do believe it is a great option for most consumers looking to juice. Remember that the best juicer is one that gets used, and not everyone has the dedication required to use other juicer styles other than centrifugal! Recently, I invested in a Norwalk juicer (very expensive, not for the faint of heart!), and find that it's triturating process produces a mash much nicer for pressing, and ultimately the best juice I have ever tasted. So I've given my 8004 to a friend on an indefinite loan. I will say that nothing beats the Norwalk for quality or quantity of juice - it is truly not just a waste of money, but the Omega juicers are great products for most people who can't afford a Norwalk, and pairing it with a manual press such as the Welles Press or Das Viking or K&K or Juice Buddy will produce almost the same yield and a juice which is still a quite good quantity.I highly recommend checking out Norman Walker's "Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices" book, for a wealth of information, regardless of your juicer choice. It can be found here on Amazon for $10, and while not very big, is the most informative book on juicing I have ever read.

Best Juicer of them all?
The Omega Vrt 350 Heavy Duty is a well put together juicer overall. It comes with two jugs (one for pulp, and one for juice) It has a GE Ultem screw (I think that's how its spelled) with a heavy duty screen that can easily process the seeds and stems even cherry pits! There is an automatic wiping blade that goes around the screen to keep the pulp from blocking the holes. The machine is very easy to clean no matter what anybody says, and easily storable. When putting food in the machine alternate between produce items. For example do apples then kale then cucumber then celery and so on and so on. This will keep the juicer from getting backed up, so if our doing carrots and kale do the kale first then the carrots because the juicer needs hard fiber to get the pulp from jamming the machine. The pulp comes out as dry as compost on a hot summers day. There are a few drawbacks to this machine. You need to cut up the celery into centimeters as well as your leafy greens or else the long fibrous strands will wrap around the auger and jam the machine. Carrots also need to be cut up into small pieces as if you put whole carrots in you run the risk of stopping the juicer (its not bad for the juicer it just wears the motor a bit). Also the juicer heats up a bit as you are juicing. Also the juice comes out a little pulpy afterwards so I recommend that you get a nut milk bag as wellOverall this juicer is a very great one that is really hard to find at this refurbished price. I definitely recommend this juicer to anyone that is starting out juicing. Even though there are drawbacks, the pros are greater than the cons so I rate this juicer 5 stars.

All around wonderful juicer.
I bought this juicer to compare to my high speed juicer, and was delighted with several aspects. It is almost immediately apparent that not all juicer designs are the same, and likewise the output and their ability to handle different fruits and veggies is quite different. The Omega juicer does a good job, after learning a bit more about a good feed order for items, in order to keep the pulp flowing correctly. Greens do much better here then in a centrifugal style juicer for one, but if your not careful, you can plug the pulp ejection by overloading it when uncut veggies and fibrous things like Celery. After catching a few videos online and learning what to cut and how to better feed and utilize the stand up masticating style juicer I was in business. The Omega juice never separates like the centrifugal style, and it much thicker. My only issue was the amount of pulp it seems to let through. After purchasing a small metal strainer I was quickly able to take care of that small issue, so if I want a thinner juice I can choose to strain, making it the way I want it.Things like pear, peach, and mango it tends to puree more than juice, be aware, you will have a very thick yield but its tasty. Hard veggies and greens do wonderfully. Not too bad to clean, juices just about anything, and takes up less space than my older juicers. The cups that come with the juicer hold plenty of juice and pulp, 32 oz of juice, 2 portions for me when on a fast or cleanse. All in all I would recommend this juicer to someone who wanted more than just a standard juicer, and wanted to utilize some of the other many uses this type of juicer can accommodate. I am very happy owning the Omega Vert. I am glad I chose the Vert as opposed to their other types of juicers.

Me gusta mucho la forma en que sale el jugo, solo que cuando tiene mucha fibra se enrosca en el aspa y se detiene el motor. Ojalà puedan mejorar este sistema. De cualquier forma me gusta.
