Excellent ceiling hangers - very stable
I put one up to hold my extension ladders. I realized, not due to product, due to practicality I would want only one ladder on each as they are different sizes and used for different items within the house. Anyway, I put the first up and wanted to see how it went before buying a second. It was very stable, easy to install and had the 3 inch lags in the box (at least the one I received did) so there was no need to go and get anything else. The gauge of steel and lag screws are more than sufficient to hold in a ladder and the max weight they advertise. They did mention installation was about 15 minutes, which probably was accurate for the applied time in drilling and putting it together. It took me about 90 minutes total for the first one and about 60 for the second and I installed them by myself. The key drivers of time for me were assessing the placement, ensuring I was dead center on the joists I was going into, missing any wires, water and sprinkler lines running through the ceiling of my garage and making sure the ladder feet wouldn't hit the garage door as it opened. There is an attic type space above my garage with stairs up so I had the ability to double and triple check. I'm glad I did as there was an electric line running along one of the joists so I moved the placement slightly). Lastly, I wanted to make sure that the placement would allow for an easy put-up and takedown of the ladders with the garage door closed (as I had to put them above where the door would lie when opened). Definitely, follow the instructions for pre-drilling as the lags will likely split most joists if you don't follow these. After putting up the first bracket, I went up a fraction larger on the recommended drill and found the lag still had a very snug fit but was significantly easier to put in (and I lubed them all with grease before putting them in). My last recommendation is that after putting up the bracket holders into the ceiling, build the "U" portion and put this in as one unit. Put in the bolts as holders and then put the washers and nuts on after (it should hold well while you're doing this). I found on the first one that trying to build the "U" one piece at a time would cause you to "over-stretch" the bracket holders to put the bottom bracket in. I would use these again if I was putting up another ceiling bracket; very solid.

Very good for creating storage space.
Used to put storage in my garage. Used 1x6x6ft boards to create the “landing” between them. I store totes with seasonal decorations in them. Installation was easy but anchor them into your ceiling 2 x 4 studs. I found by ceiling studs first and then based spacing on how much I was wanting to store.

Good Functional Rack for the Money
Rack was pretty simple to install. I made a rack above the washer/dryer to hold patio cushions. I extended it to the max 37". Had a problem drilling the holes for the lag bolts. The documentation is wrong! Haven't these people ever installed one? It says to drill a hole using a 3/16 bit for a 7/16 lag bolt! Good luck. You'll never get the bolt in. I went larger than 1/4. Use a socket wrench to tighten bolts - it's easier. Other than that, it does the job. It's strong & max weight is 250 lbs. but I would not put more than 100 on it. Nice white finish on it, all nuts & bolts are good quality. I think it's even make in USA. Update: I bought 2 more to install above the garage doors. Works great in a small garage. Use them to store a bike, snow shovels & rakes.

Worked really well for bulky holiday decorations
Works really well when you find the wood ceiling joists. I added some wood lengthwise pieces and extended with some plywood for lightweight items.

A little flimsy !
Not bad for the price. Quality is ok, the tube do not fit as tight as it could be. A little flimsy but seems strong enough to handle the 200lbs recommended. Poor horizontal stability. Need to tie into the wall for lateral support.

Fits Thule motion xt l cargo box
Happy that I found an affordable and secure way to store my Thule motion xt l Cargo box . The components aren’t as large as I was imagining but that’s a good thing as it takes less space up and is still plenty stable.

Crap
Terrible quality. Chipped paint. Super loose fit. Holes don't line up. I don't have a lot of clearance so needed to make it as short as possible abd of course the last 2 holes don't line up. I've already drilled the holes and installed the bolts so I had to order a new set of metal drill bits to make extra holes in the parts. If you're still looking, skip these and look elsewhere
