I bought this cane because it boasted a 500lb capacity. I weigh less than 1/2 that amount, but it broke the first time I used it - I made a rather undignified descent to the floor, as a result. Unfortunately, a zero rating isn’t available or that would have been my choice.

We got this for my husband for our vacation. He has bad knees and can't stand in long lines, or walk long distances. This was perfect, especially for the airport! He got to sit at baggage claim while I pulled off the bags. He is 6'4 and 440lbs, it was sturdy and comfortable for him. I used it to sit a time or two as well, and we lent it to a friend so she could sit when needed as well. The cap to the light came off somewhere...probably the overhead bin in the plane, but other than that we had no issues with it. Love it!

Cane broke the minute my husband tried sitting on it. He is a lot less then the 500 lb rating and it put him right on the floor without a pause.

This is made to support large people ...but the seat is not that good at all!in a pinch it will work, but not comfortable.

very disappointed. you cant sit on it facing the handle unless you are a very small person. flimsy and certainly not reassuring when sitting on it. Not sure how long it may last. Oh and it comes with an instruction booklet that is completely written in chinese characters. I am afraid I don't speak or read chinese. JUNK

Cane claims to be rated for up to 500lbs, immediately upon trying for the first time center leg bent and is now unusable, if rated for 500lbs should be able to at least handle 300lbs of weight! Absolutely do not buy!

Oh my gosh....I am so disgusted with this! It literally shocked me to see just how very very small it is! No one disabled should ever even try to sit on this. I think this is dangerous for someone that is disabled. It seriously would set a very small child’s behind on it but NOT an adults behind, just no way!

Now if I get stuck waiting in line at DMV or other lines I can get off my feet, bad back and injured feet.
