Scrub Brush for Dish Kitchen Sink Pot Pan with Stiff Bristles, Yellow-Green 5pcs

It seems so silly to write a review of such a simple cheap item, but conversely how silly is it to get such a simple item this wrong?The thickness and stiffness of the bristles means you don't get any scrubbing action unless you move the brush quite a bit, resulting in a lot of splashing from the bristles whipping back and forth. The bristles also flattened out pretty quickly, so this 3 pack is almost used up and in the garbage already.

Update: January 26, 2021After about 6 months of cleanups including two turkey dinners, bacon a couple times a month, frying burgers, etc. this brush is holding up great (see pictures)! I'm still on the first of three brushes. I see other reviews that refer to bad design, slippery handles and such. I'm not sure what they're referring to, because I think this is the best brush I've ever used in the decades of washing dishes, pots and pans.Bought in July 2020The brush is very stiff with some give, but that's what I wanted. Some brushes are too soft and flatten WAY too quickly - not this one. I can see the point of some reviewers saying the bristles cause water and food scraps to be thrown about when scrapping, but that's the kind of brush I was looking for - a long-lasting brush. Plus, I have 3 of them so I expect not to have to buy another brush for years. I've been using mine for almost a month now and I'm very happy with them.

I have been looking for brushes like these for a long time. We have farm animals which mean that we have a lot of different watering containers, all of which get algae in the summertime. I always clean my containers so my critters have nice clean water. What makes these brushes so wonderful is that they also have a scraper area on them, so if I have a nasty spot I can just scrape it away without having to go for another tool. They are also a stiff brush which makes quick work of any algae that grows. Would really love if they made this same brush bigger with a long handle for us animal people.

I really like how sturdy these are, nothing is worse than those dish brushes that are too soft and just smush up against dishes rather than scrubbing them. Not a problem with these. They also are standing up really well when used with my cast iron, which is often still hot when I start scrubbing it because I have zero patience. In fact that's usually what prematurely kills my brushes. I do wish these had the more conventional rounded bottle-brush style because the bristles don't really make contact with the bottom of small bottles. Overall, I'm pleased with these and I think this 3-pack will last me much longer than normal.

I typically order another brush but this was a deal I could not pass up. I thought if they were of poor quality, it wasn’t a great loss. I have been using one of the brushes for almost a month and it looks brand new. The shape was not my usual and the bristles were spread further apart but again, to my surprise, the shape is perfect and the space among the bristles allows it to be cleaned easily. I put it in my dishwasher about every other day. Very, very pleased.

This don’t seem very strong. After a night of cooked spaghetti the red sauce was stuck in the bristles and I had to wash it by hand clean.UPDATE. after speaking with the company they have a full customer satisfaction guarantee so they refunded my purchase and offered their other product with stronger bristles. Their products are all dishwasher safe as well so I could have thrown in dishwasher.

This is a good scrubbing brush but it's not so stiff that it is scratchy on surfaces. It is somewhat hard to get into tight corners if the angle is not right but the shape of the bristles does help it get into corners of most dishes. It's scraper edge works well, too. I use this daily for scrubbing pots, pans, and cookie sheets and such. It's not a replacement for scrubbing pads for tough burnt on oil and such on stainless steel pans but it gets a lot of other things just fine. The one place it won't work well is baby bottles. It's too stiff and the head too big to fit. But baby bottles is not why we bought this so I'm happy with this purchase.The brush has proven to be durable, too. We have been using the first brush for months now and it still hasn't lost its shape at all unlike many other brushes we have used over the years that end up flat at the tip from hard scrubbing. This one has kept its shape really well. I expect to get probably over a year of use out of the set of 3 for a very good price. If you're looking for a stiffer scrubbing brush, just hit buy.

Three of them, and they're an item that will last. Stiffer bristles than most bode well for the effectiveness and longevity of this kitchen tool. On an odd note, there's printed text on the handle that seems to wash away quickly. The resulting cleaner look is actually welcome.

I thought I'd bagged a bargain with this set of 3 brushes for near enough the price of just 2 of my old ones. I should have known better! I've only had this set for just over a month and I'm already on the 2nd one. My old Addis brushes lasted about a year before needing to be replaced so this set is not good value.The bristles are a strange combination of being too firm and too soft! Being too firm means there is no give, making it difficult to get the bristles into awkward places without scrubbing ultra hard - which then seems to soften them at the base so they begin to bend outwards and flatten. Then, any amount of scrubbing is in vain due to the bristles flattening out. They also stain really badly after a couple of uses.The handle is tricky to keep a grip of so I have to hold it near the bristles which means I'm swirling the water around more than ever - not ideal when you end up throwing water over the edge of the sink rather than actually cleaning the pan!The only good thing is the hook which is very handy if you want to have it as a hanging decoration - other than that, don't waste your money! I'm going back to Addis...

These brushes were hard to find. Have bought some from them before. It was hard to find brushes with stuff durable bristles but these fit the bill well, are tough and really do scrub well. They have an added scraper at the head - a handy thing. Easy to hold and a pretty good design. Just what I wanted.

The only good thing about this brush is that it's nice to hold. When cleaning the bristles spray the foam all over (I've bought brushes with different design bristles that do not do this). The bristles easily get stained when cleaning dishes. The stain only come off when pouring boiling water over them.

Great product, well made, robust. So much better that the cheaply made Addis brush I made the mistake of buying last time.
