Aswome mouse, Improved my gamplay greatly!
My old mouse was the Roccat Kova+ which was just over a year old and to be honest I love this mouse, plugged it in the pc loaded into windows and instantly greeted to download and install Razer Synapse 2.0, so easy no messing around and installed within minutes. The mouse itself feels very comfortable in my hand and smooth to use, the first thing that I must say I didn't like is the fact that as this is a left handed mouse when first booting up in windows the left and right mouse button are pre-set the opposite around, so basically the right mouse button is left click and the left mouse button is right click, even more annoying for me even now that I have changed the profile I still have to wait for synapse to load up after loading into windows for the button settings to change (very minor thing but yet I find it annoying). Upon first use obviously took me some time to set everything up in game settings but for World Of Warcraft the Razer Naga addon is pretty useful. Once everything is set up my gaming experience I found has improved greatly and I am really loving the mouse the 12 buttons on the side have really made it easier for me and improved my gameplay the only downfall for me is the bottom 3 (10,11,12) which I find a bit far back to easily press (may just be I have large hands), for me personally they could do with the twelve buttons just being move further forward on the mouse. Overall definitely the best mouse I have owned yet and I am really happy with it but like everything the are just a few minor details that for me personally could be changed or improved as motioned.

Great price for those looking for a lefty gaming mouse!
Here is my in-depth review of the Razer Naga Left Handed Edition. PROS: Many highlights Great mouse for lefties! Worth the price for high precision and maximum efficiency. Has a great amount of keys which can be swapped for games which don't support custom keybinds; can also be macro'd for hard to reach keys or memorized combos, also even add an .exe launcher, for fast and easy app accessability. Excellent for any MMO or games that require high APM. You can even create multiple profiles to handle any tasks and or games. Great matte finish, feels great and prevents hand from sweating. And lastly, the size is adequate for big hands and feels comfortable; best part is it's braided to avoid coiling and tangling. CONS: Which are very few. This mouse could have been a little better, as the lift off is a tad bit hard to get used to, without actually pressing on one of the keys, because of the limited space to rest your thumb. Also it just may be a preference or performance enhancing to some, but for me, I like me a good heavy mouse, to prevent from shaking off too fast from jittery hands (which would have been great with some weight adjusters).

The Ultimate Mouse for Lefties
I was one of the thousands of folks that petitioned Razer to make a left-handed Naga last year. Being an MMO fan myself, I found mice with only four or five buttons a bit too meager for the way I wanted to play an MMO. This is especially true considering most keyboards aren't particularly conducive to left-handed play. In any case, Razer listened, I patiently waited a year for the lefty Naga, and here we are. To put it succinctly, this is a phenomenal mouse. It fits perfectly and contours to my left hand without issue. The buttons are well-placed and my thumb can reach them all. It's exactly like the normal Naga (on occasion I'd check one out with my right but really couldn't use it comfortably), except for my left hand. This means that the high quality Razer is known for and its great Synapse software is available for customizability. Lefties almost always get left out in the cold, but Razer has always treated us right. I've used their left-handed DeathAdder for years, and I know I'll be doing the same with the Naga. If you're a left-handed gamer on that eternal search for a gaming mouse that works with your dominant hand, read no further and just purchase this now.

Lefty or one handed necessity
Having use of one arm finding a way to play pc games that require a lot of buttons can be troubling. This allowed me to play all sorts of games better being left handed and having plenty of buttons for your thumb to easily select

High price, Low quality
I've had the mouse for two years, here's everything that's wrong with it. Lifting the mouse: Far and away the most irritating flaw with this mouse. At random, when you lift the mouse to move it back to the center of the pad (which you need to do a lot in games) it will stop registering movement. The buttons work, you just can't move your cursor or adjust your aim at all. It stays locked like that for a few seconds until long after you're dead, then starts working again until you need to lift the mouse again, and at which point it will lock up for another few seconds, again and again until you restart. your. computer. High-school level software design right there. Size: It's big and uncomfortable. You get used to that and it's not so bad. Scroll wheel: Developed a jitter during fast movement, which is great for when you try to make a twitch shot but your mouse wheel jittered so now you have your knife out and you're dead. Also the wheel notches are imprecise, so when you empty your ak and scroll down one click to bring out your pistol you might just get two clicks instead of one and out come the knife, or three clicks or whatever, you're dead. RMB/LMB: thin, cheap plastic. Eventually they wear and bend and then you put your finger down but the outside edge bends too low and the button doesn't click, so you sit there aiming at somebody but not shooting and now you're dead. My solution was to break LMB off, bend it back, and super glue it back on. Thumb buttons: They wear so that they don't actually register when you feel the click and you need to push harder on them. Great for when you're about to die as Torb so you aim at the ground and try to toss armor but the thumb button doesn't sense that it's been pushed so you stand there staring at your crotch for a half second while rein bashes your brains in.

Top!!!

The perfect IT treat for the left hand! Three things: 1) general feedback: design is perfect, palm is perfectly sits on it; buttons are fairly easy to reach and the whole use feels natural to your hand 2) it`s a gaming mouse and it delivers. Used it for League of Legends with tailored key bindings and macros and WOW; really increases your performance. 3) it`s more than a gaming mouse: as not being a teenager I`ve got other stuffs to do on my laptop and bought this mouse also for the high amount of programmable buttons on the side. Makes my life in windows and in programs very much easier. All key combos can be programmed on the side (ctrl+F4 to switch between Chrome tabs; ctrl+c; ctrl+v, Enter, backspace button to go back on pages and the list goes on). Makes it so comfortable that I don`t have to reach out for my keyboard to push these keyboard combos. Highly recommended not just for gaming but for browsing, CAD design or for anyone who uses a lot of keyboard buttons. Who doesn`t? :) Only small issue I have is with the software (synapse) if you unplug it when the laptop is switched on and re-plug it the software forgets the key bindings (solution: need to sign out and in again in windows). Not a deal breaker though.

I will never buy a Naga product again! This mouse is no more useful than a $10 generic mouse unless you create an online account with Naga and requires a continuous internet connection to remain reliable and fully functional. The privacy policy attached to creating an account specifies Naga can share/sell the information they collect with 3rd parties . They specifically including things like your email address, and for marketing purposes. This privacy concern alone was enough to scratch Naga off my list of future suppliers but there were also other operational functions that are very frustrating. The first thing the software install, which is required to make the mouse fully functional does, is attempt to create an online account with Naga. You cannot install the software included with the mouse until after you have successfully created an online account! Until you have an account you cannot adjust any of the mouse's operating parameters such as configuring buttons or the dpi (response time). In this state this expensive mouse is less useful than the cheapest of generic mice. Account creation includes Naga's server downloading some files onto your computer. Naga's activation server is overloaded or down regularly. It took me many dozens of tries spread over 2 days before their server successfully downloaded all the files it was trying to get and I was able to use all the features of the mouse as advertised. Most frustrating... :( the mandatory account creation process would get to some percentage of downloading files to install, fail, and then start again from the beginning on the next attempt, instead of continuing the download from where it left off on the previous attempt. On one attempt, of the many dozens, it got to 99% after about 6 hours, failed and started again from the beginning. The other horrid functioning of this account creation process was that when it failed it did not automatically resume. It sat there waiting for you to acknowledge the failure. This meant that for two days I had to constantly check to see if the install was still running. I actually got up in the middle of the night a few times to do this as I thought less internet traffic during the night might help. The dismal performance was at Naga's server, not the result of any general internet conditions. Other internet usage was normal and fast throughout this install. Only after creating your online account with Naga can you configure the mouse to work in offline mode. Offline mode is not foolproof if you bought the left hand version of the mouse as I did. In offline mode, and even sometimes when online, the left and right mouse mouse buttons would revert unexpectedly to their default settings. You only realize this after the program you are using appears to miss-function; the reason being you are now pressing the options button of the mouse popping up the active window's options menu instead of selecting something in the window like the save or ok function as you intended. Even synapse, the mouse configuration software, itself has a bug when you are configuring mouse buttons. If you have set the left-handed version of the mouse to use the normal left/right button configuration this works correctly everywhere except in one place in the button configuration process of about 4 steps. You use the left button normally during this process to ok all choices but when you want to select an option of the type of configuration you want to place on the current button, ie... Key combination, mouse function, windows function, macro, etc, you have to use the right-mouse button to open the drop down menu to select these options, even though for everywhere else the left button is the select button. Even after many button assignments this threw me off and made me curse every time I needed to reconfigure the mouse. After trying the default mouse configuration of using the right button as the main button and the left button as the options button for a period, I realized swapping the buttons is not a good idea. Either at home or at other locations, I often use other regular mice configured in the standard arrangement and it got very frustrating using the wrong combination for the mouse I was currently using. Every time I pressed a mouse button I first had to think, "which mouse am I using"? As a result clicking a button was no longer a fast intuitive process. Although this is a gaming mouse I bought it for another purpose. I often use programs such as autocad and photoshop where having many programmed buttons available makes the workflow much faster. Specialized input devices for such programs are much more expensive than the already expensive Naga Razer 2014. Both the left and right handed versions of this mouse have a grid of 12 buttons in the area where your thumb sits which I thought would be useful in my situation. Unfortunately the design of this mouse makes it almost impossible to lift this mouse to reposition it without accidentally clicking one of the 12 buttons. The only way to lift the mouse without setting off a button is to move your hand backwards on the mouse and squeeze it in your palm. This is not at all a natural or comfortable movement. It also means you need to constantly move your thumb out of position over the buttons every time you want to lift the mouse. The 12 buttons are very small and close together and almost impossible to press reliably without looking at the mouse first to see where your hand is. In practice I have found that only the 3 outside buttons towards the back of the mouse can be pressed reliably by feel alone. Unfortunately these are the buttons most likely to be pressed when you attempt to lift the mouse. Depending on what you have these buttons programmed to do the results of an accidental press while lifting the mouse can be disastrous resulting in loss of work. For my right hand I use another gaming mouse, a logitech G602. It has less buttons (6) in the thumb area than the Naga but it is designed so that you can lift the mouse without pressing a button accidentally and you can also leave your hand in the same position for everything you do. To accomplish this there is a large, slightly concave area below the buttons where you can firmly grip the mouse in order to lift it. The Naga lacks any such area and to lift it you must first move your thumb out of position behind the buttons. On the logitech the buttons are also larger, each have a unique shape, and all have an outside edge to help 'feel' where your thumb is without needing to look. The draw back with the logitech g602 mouse is that it is definitely a right-handed mouse. It is almost impossible to use with your left hand. I have gone back to a more traditional either-handed mouse and a large touchpad for my left hand.
