TASTERPLACE Red Wine Aromas - English Version - Tasting Tool - for Sommeliers And Amateurs

As a Sommelier, and a student I found this to really help in identifying the individual aroma's in red wine. I also use this as a fun game with enthusiasts too. Really helped me pick out individual fruit characters in wines. I think they offer fantastic value when compared to some other bands and the product is of the same standards but at a more approachable price. Great as a learning tool or gift for any wine lovers!

Its fun to try and train your nose. On this kit we did not get the mystery bonus sample, and axmxzxn were v unhelpful indeed, as were their algorithms. However we managed to contact the company directly (email in pack) and they were a joy to deal with - and sent two samples.

I brought this as a gift for my brother. He loves wine and loves this gift. I find it's often a challenge buying gifts for adults, but this one was a winner.

This is a hardback book size box, with 12 little bottles (and a bonus bottle). Each is clearly numbered. I thought it would be easy... it wasn't, I thought as I knew a bit about wine it would help,... it didn't. I was hopeless! But we had family get together and were all able to join in have a go. The younger ones seemed to have a keener sense of smell. What was really interesting was when you went through the answers and smelled the bottles again. It was so obvious, you thought 'how did I not get that first time round'. It really is more about sense of smell than wine. Anyone could join in. A good lockdown activity!

Gifted this to our friends. We all had fun guessing the different smells. It's a fun way to learn different scents. It's very strange just how much we can smell but not be able to link with the actual item until you see the label. Thinking of getting a set for ourselves so we can practice our own nose-brain connection at home!

Super fun and really well-presented. A great gift or party game.

Good present for a wine buff.

This is an absolute disgrace for the amount it costs. I bought it as a gift and when I saw it I just arranged to send it back. Don’t expect something impressive - it’s the size of a small paperback book. How the company has the audacity to charge this amount is beyond me. Massively disappointed
