Star Professional High Heel Shoe Stretchers

I was disappointed because I thought that the price is outrageous for one shoe stretcher. When I ordered it, I was under the assumption that they sold as a pair. I could have bought something similiar at one of our shoe repair stores a little cheaper. Another reason I bought it was because it was shaped for women's high heels. If I had known that it was only one shoe stretcher, I would not have bought it. It is solid wood and it may last a long time. It should for that price!

This isn't constructed like one that I have from 30 years ago.Its just not built to last.But, it works well,, now.

I had shoes I needed to stretch and I used this to do the job. I stretched the shoe gradually by using the shoe stretch liquid (bought separately) and then put the metal button where I needed a little more room and then cranked the handle until I feel some tension I left it that way for a few hours and then cranked the handle some more and left for a few more hours...did this over the course of several days...the end result was shoes that were uncomfortable fit a lot better!

I was really looking forward to receiving this item, however, I ended up quite disappointed. I first put the shoe stretcher in one of my shoes, and screwed it in. The mechanism screwed right through the wood, past the routered channel. So, I took it out, and tried on the shoe, and it did fit better. However, I have a bunion on one foot, and I attempted to place one of the plastic bumps (?) into one of the holes meant for it. It wouldn't fit. I had to drill out the holes for the bumps to be place in the thing. Sorry I bought it.

The diameter of the shoe stretcher was too large to fit in my heels, so I was unable to fully insert the product into my shoe to stretch it as it was designed. I was able to get creative and it did ultimately work.

The shoe stretcher works well but I found it very stiff to turn. Perhaps it will be easier to turn with more use.

Misleading. The two pictures and the description made me think I was getting a set. What a disappointment!!!!

met all my expectations an the shoes fit perfect. was a great buy will use it again and recommend it to others
