My horse had a really horrific skin condition. His neck, hindquarters and chest were all affected. We believe that it was caused by nighttime bugs like “no see ums” a common sand flea which are active primarily in the evenings. In addition to appropriate medications and shampoos, we used “Calm Coat” to help in healing the skin. It was very effective and prevented further open wounds caused by scratching at the bites. A nice “side effect” was that the skin on my hands, which is of the usual “beaten up, works with horses” variety, is now much smoother and more supple.I highly recommend this product.

I really liked the claims that this product made and thought it would be a great fit for our doggy, who frequently licks and chews on her front limbs. However, she *really* did not like it, I think she felt like it was too much or something. We got to do it once and that was it for her. Again, this is not necessarily the product’s fault but we bought it because it said “soothing” and we def did not have that goin’ on.

This works fantastic!!! Heals quickly and smells amazing. Since I have been applying it with my hands, I have seen a difference in my own healing as I had a few cuts on my hands. Well worth every penny. I will never stop ordering this product. Great for horses that have been rubbing themselves on the paddock fences too. It just soothes their skin. Works for any irritation they have, including scratches and bug bites.

My cat had a cut on his tail and I had a hard time finding a product that would soothe the irritation without him scratching at it. This calm coat product worked perfectly and not only healed the irritation but made his fur grow back as well. Would buy again without a doubt.

This is the best stuff . my German Shepard had a bad allergy to seresto collar .his skin was horribly red and irritated and he was itching constantly. I started using this product and his now his skin and coat is beautiful . no more itching..highly recommend..

This review is my honest opinion. I DO not represent a competitor's product.I bought this to help with dog's itchy skin and feet chewing. I tried it every couple of days for a couple of week, but did not help at all.The bottle says not to use on genital region, which I didn't. However, the warning should be changed to "do not use on stomach area at all"My dog had a horrible reaction on the side of his stomach where it meets his thigh. It was a patch of translucent skin where you see the blood vessels underneath. It look like a horrible burn. Shiny, red, and translucent. It went away after a few days (I stopped using this product and applied coconut oil), but it was scary. I should have taken pictures, but I was too scared and the last thing I was thinking about was an Amazon review. Internet trolls may try to blame me for being a bad pet-parent, but I'm not. The bottle and website does not warn about this possible reaction so I'm warning you.

I love this for minor skin irritations on my horse. I've never had any issues or adverse reactions.
