i bought this tripod tablet mount to hold my 10 inch table on my recently purchased table tripod it works fine except it only holds the tablet in panasonic view which is a pain when taking portrait pictures otherwise im very happy

I needed a phone holder that would hold a large phone, in this case a Samsung S20 vertically for use in whattsap video calls with my daughter's, all the other ones only seem to open wide enough for horizontal usage, coupled up with a desktop tripod this unit is perfect for that! the jaws are deep enough and provide good grip and I have had no problems using it!

GENERAL- arrived quickly- Screws onto a typical tripod mount- slightly fiddly to get the stand set in a stable position on a tripod mount- Product description does not tell the full storyMOBILES- Can grip a mobile across the longer dimension and have the stand positioned in either Landscape or Portrait modeBUTwill not grip a mobile across the shorter dimension because the gap between the clasps is too wide, andif gripping a mobile across the longer dimension, then some of the back plate may get in the way of thephone camera on some types of phone.IPADS / TABLETS- Can hold devices up to 190mm wide (an IPAD4 is just under this)- Will hold the IPAD4 steady (when in landscape mode)BUT- The clasps do not go far enough apart to hold a large device across the longer dimension.- The stand Will NOT hold an IPAD4 (and I guess any other large IPAD or tablet) in Portrait mode. If you try this, the IPAD gently slides down between the two clips, and will land on the floor (or desk) if not caught; the friction between the clasps is not enough to retain it in place.

I bought this to hold my Samsung tablet for zoom gym workouts. Works as described, fits on the bracket attached to my tripod. I wouldn't recommend it for holding a phone in portrait mode, the brackets can partially cover the selfie camera on the front. Otherwise a good little holder, and value for money.

does the job

Using the mount for holding a tablet for music purposes, attached to an existing older tripod. Fits perfectly and is adaptable for portrait and landscape shops. Also fits a small desk tripod so can be used for work purposes etc for zoom/skype/facetime etc.Very pleased, value for money. Just what I needed.
