HIMSA Noahlink Wireless Bluetooth Hearing Aid Programmer

Got some hearing aids and did not like the way they sounded and I started to get annoyed with the audiologist and them changing too many settings at one time, that I decided to give it a try myself. Made life easier when I was able to make micro changes to them in my own home. But be aware the actual software for the hearing aids might be nearly impossible to get ahold of. But with some digging through hearing aid forums one could get thier hands on the software for the specific hearing aid brand. You just have to ask people. But remember changing the settings of your hearing aids can cause more harm than good. So be very careful.

I have Starkey hearing aids.This only provides modified BT wireless connection to the hearing aids.Like many devices you have to install a driver on your computer first. (Available on the net).You have to use the hearing aid manufacturer software. This is where you do the actual adjustments.Worked like a charm. No more visits to the Audio !

COST OF GOOD HEARING:After my dog ate a new $3,000 hearing aide... The first best investment I made was buying a used pair of Oticon hearing aides. Then, when my audiologist refused to program them for me and wished me "good luck with that," I programmed them myself based on my hearing loss pattern with this gizmo. Buying used hearing aides and this Noahlink, all in, cost 1/10th the cost of buying from the audiologist!I AM BIONIC NOW:The best part about having the Noahlink is that I can tweak the settings over a few days. No more trips to the doctors office. It took me a week to settle in on what worked for me. I was able to program modes for speech, music listening (never knew that existed before - total game changer), link it to my phone and listen from the next room over, and change the tinnitus setting (it adds white noise, pink noise, etc.).I STILL CAN'T UNDERSTAND CHINESE:Okay, so it does ship from China. It arrived safely. It was not counterfeit. And even though it came directly from China, my hearing aides do not translate languages on the fly now. Not that I expected it. It was just funny to throw that bit in for comedic effect. Just don't let that keep you from ordering the Noahlink.

You need to get familiar with the software before tuning. That takes a few hours to understand, but once you do, it's not too difficult to make adjustments for yourself. I'm not an audiologist, but my hearing aids are tuned really well in my opinion.

I'm really glad this device is available, I had no problem using it to adjust my Widex Moment.

The unit I received was brand new, delivered as scheduled, was a simple plug and play. I have Oticon OPN 1 aids and I was able to locate and download Genie 2 fitting software from searching the Internet. Genie found the Noahlink without a problem and my hearing aids connected on first try (open battery door first, then close door) as Genie 2 searches for your hearing aids. The Noahlink is great way to program your hearing aids IF you know what you are doing. There are many setting that interact with each other, so be careful! I couldn' t be happier with the Noahlink and the supplier. NOTE: You cannot update firmware with Noahlink as you must have a wired connection (e.g. Hi-Pro/mini-Pro with all the connecting adaptor cables).
