So far, the product is doing what it intends to do. It worked. I like it. I want to buy one for a friend.

The concept of this car phone holder is very simple... hold the phone from sides and bottom regardless of the size of the phone. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 with a case and it holds it without any problems. I took a 1200 mile road trip and it never failed. It has a very strong grip on the air vent. It's easy to put in and take out of the craddle. I also was able to plug in the phone charger while in the craddle. When not it use, the product is so compact that it does not block the air coming out of the vent. I love this car mount!

The fact that the clip that goes onto the vent louvre has a button to press to create tension makes it a super tight fit so it doesn’t budge!! And the side and bottom spring arms have enough tension to perfectly hold my cell phone in place, even over bumps!I have a pop socket on my iPhone Xs and I was able to pull the rubber tips on the ends of the arms a little forward so they would accommodate the extra depth of my iphone and extend around my cell.PERFECT!

I checked the visuals to see if I had the right kind of vents I do. The vent grip is just too short. I have tightened it as much as I can but it just falls off after a couple of hours. I also falls off if the road is bumpy or rough. It adjusts around my phone just fine even with a case on.

I had previously ordered & used one of the cell phone holders that has the suction cup you put on your windshield. It worked okay, but no matter where I located it, it seemed to be in my line of vision somewhat. So I ordered this items to try & so far, I've been very happy with it. It has my phone where it's easily visible & the AC helps to keep it cool. I've only had my phone fall out of it once & it's likely because I didn't have it seated well.

Fits well for my Note 9. Sturdy enough but if you try to pull out the charging cable while the phone is docked you might move the joint of the holder.

The concept is great and it's easy to use and install. The teeth grip the vent on my Outback just fine, and the grip stays in place fairly well even on bumpy roads. What I find doesn't work well is the firmness of the holder to stay in the position that I set it. I put my phone in, and push the "top back" to align the phone mostly vertical, and within a short amount of time it's sagged back down to a "top forward" position.It's relatively easy to put the phone in the holder, and despite my phone being large (Pixel 3XL) it stays in the holder without issue.If the holder would have a bit firmer setting position to maintain the angle I'd have no hesitation giving this product 5 stars. However, my having to re-adjust every 15-20 minutes based on bumpy roads lowers it to a 3.

It didn’t hold the phone well & even when I twisted the tightener the phone just slumped downward. It was difficult to place the phone in the holder & you definitely couldn’t do it one-handed. Returned.
