This is a beautiful piece to embroider, but I am beginning all over again after not having embroidered since the late 70's. The kit said for beginners, and although I recall a little, I am technically a beginner because I have forgotten how to do stitches. The kit is more difficult for me than I expected. I'll learn how again, but right now it's difficult. I must say this is a gorgeous piece of embroidery and the print on the material looks like the picture. The piece is colorful and truly charming. A lovely design. It may take a long time to do this (for me) but I will learn a great deal. I have found the instructions to be somewhat confusing, but that could be because I am just beginning. IF I had never, ever embroidered, I think it would be much TOO difficult to attempt as a first piece. As I embroider a few things are coming back to me and I am getting the "feel" of the needle and thread and fabric, but had this been my very first one way back in the 70's, I think I would have been very discouraged. Perhaps it simple for some, but not for this "beginner."

This kit is beautiful, but I was disappointed in one thing. The enclosed hoop was way too small. It would be impossible to work the entire piece without moving the hoop several times and it is nowhere big enough to frame the piece. I had to use the hoop from another project to work on it. Otherwise, a nice kit.

This is a really cute embroidery that helps you learn a ton of new stitches. The directions are well written and everything you need is included. I changed the pattern a little to help it make sense as far as how a bike actually looks. The only reason I gave it three stars is, like other reviewers have stated, it is impossible to wash the pattern off the fabric after you're done. It's not a deal breaker as it still looks good hanging on a wall, but doesn't hold up to close inspections. It's also frustrating to have put in the work to do the project and not be able to get it looking perfect.

For $6.99, this is awesome! I just wanted to give embroidery a try and I didn't want to invest any significant amount of money into craft supplies, so this kit is perfect because it comes with everything I need. The kit includes a needle, hoop, and plenty of thread for when I mess up and have to try again. The instructions for the different types of stitches is useless, but that's what YouTube is for. I love the pattern too--it's giving me good practice with the satin stitch, long and short, french knot, chain, and stem stitch.

Plenty of thread, clear pattern on fabric, fairly good needle, and good basic instruction. A very new beginner may have trouble following along with some of the stitches, but anyone with just a little stitching experience will find it easy and fun.

Love the colors! Everything was included and it’s been such an easy project to do as I watch tv! Thank you for creating this type of projects.

I'm not sure about it...it is a gift for a teenager. We shall see how it goes.

The design is great. That’s the only really positive thing I can say.The fabric isn’t appropriate for embroidery. It’s super thin (which causes it to slip out of the hoop), and the weave is so tight that it’s difficult to get a needle through it. The hoop itself arrived warped and damaged. The eye of the included needle was too small to thread with 6 strands (which is required for some of the stitches). The design is printed in permanent ink, so you can’t rinse it off when you’re done.
