Works well
Works very well for applying a keratin treatment where you need to have a glove thin enough to separate and hold hair accurately but still be protective of the heat from the multiple passes of a flat iron.

Great heat glove for a fraction of the price.
Great heat glove for straightening and curling hair. I turned my Sedu straightener up to 450 degrees and clamped down on my glove covered hand and while it got a little warm it wasn't even uncomfortably hot. Works just as good as my old expensive heat glove.Ii used it mainly when straightening my hair. Normally when I straighten my hair I cant touch my hair for a bit because the actually strands of hair are too hot to touch. With the glove it cuts down the time it takes to straighten my hair because there is not longer a need to wait.It is god sent when using a wand curling iron. No more ugly not curled ends because you cant rap the last bit around the barrel without burning your fingers. Awesome.

Glove works well for my 425F curling iron
Glove works well for my 425F curling iron - I do feel it get hot but don't burn. So overall it does what it says.

Good for woodburners too!
I waned a protective glove to wear for pyrography (woodburning) projects. This fits the bill pretty well. It fits my hand comfortably, though I have rather long fingers. It may be too big for a small woman. It provides some insulation, but bear in mind that a woodburning pen gets hotter than a curling iron, so some care is still needed. It is also thin enough to maintain some dexterity. A textured grip would be nice, but I can still work with it.

These really are twice as thick
The gloves that come with most curling irons are a bit thin, so when I saw this one I thought I would give it a try. Well it is definitely thicker than the others but no so thick that it is hard to work with the curling iron. After I tried one, I ordered a second and put both on so I am ambidextrous when I use the curling iron. Even though they do cost a lot, I figure it is worth it not to burn my hands. And I have found that if I hold it until I start feeling the heat through these gloves, the curls are perfect. Can't beat that!

Excellent product! Can't say enough GOOD things about the gloves!
These gloves are truly GREAT!! The "heat resistant" glove that came with my wand was terrible. I purchased two of these so I don't have to worry about switching hands. They fit good enough that I keep them on while sectioning my hair... No problem! That's a big plus. I would recommend these to everyone using any type of clipless wand. You can hold the ends of your hair and not feel the heat AT ALL! I can't say enough good things about them. I even showed them to my hairdresser and she said that they were better than her professional ones! Then she bought them! Enough said... :-)

Works great for pyrography (wood burning)

ouch
I bought this to replace the cheap glove that came with my curling wand. Unfortunately, this glove didn't work any better. I keep my curling wand set at one of the lowest temperatures and this glove didn't offer any heat protection.

Comfortable and Affordable
I actually bought this to use when Woodburning (Pyrography) to try to stem some of the heat from the woodburning pen. It fits great and actually does quite a good job. It does heat through after a couple hours but I would expect that. Overall, great product!

Bought for woodburning
Bought this to manage heat while using a wood burning tool. It does mitigate some of the heat and allows me to work for longer, just not as much as I'd hoped. Still, worthwhile for the price.

Dont burn my hand anymore
Love it. I can curl my hair faster and dont have tons of burn Mark's on my hands.

Not worth the price
A thin glove from the dollar store would work just as fine compared to this. Stops the heat for a few seconds and helps prevent burns, but after a few second heat can be felt.
