I have a regular lighted makeup mirror, but I rely on a smaller hand mirror with a stand to do eye makeup. Maybe I'm getting blinder, but the smaller mirror just hasn't been working for me. It's difficult to do eyeliner, even with the magnification.I was in the market for a replacement that didn't cost an arm and a leg, and this one seemed ideal. And wow...just wow. I can actually SEE without my glasses! I'm actually able to do winged liner faster and without screw ups, the magnification is that wonderful. Oh, and you know how you thought your exfoliant was working and getting rid of all those teeny blackheads? If you look at yourself in this mirror, your nose and chin are going to look like a minefield! That sounds like bad news, but it's not. You'll actually be able to see those little buggers and get rid of them before they get bigger, more noticeable and start stretching your pores. Needless to say, this mirror is amazing for brow plucking. I'm a relatively unhairy woman, but I never even knew how much peach fuzz I had til I looked myself in this mirror.And the mirror is quality all the way through. My current crappy mirror is lightweight. This one is, in the sense it's not burdensomely heavy. But it has a heft to it that indicates quality. Even when you spin the mirrors from regular to magnified, it has a sense of solidity and substance. The mirrors are well made and not cheap, so no distortion. The stand itself is rubberized, and if you like that feel and texture (I do), you'll love this. It's pleasant to hold and just looks great on your dressing table.I cannot recommend this mirror enough if you wan to see what you REALLY look like (trust me...initially, you'll jump!)

I purchased this for myself from my mom for my birthday (did I lose you? =)). I used to have a Conair makeup mirror that had built in lights, but it disappeared in a move a couple years ago. I decided to not go with another lighted makeup mirror because I only use the makeup mirror for my detail makeup application, not all over (like foundation, if I wear it). I liked the idea of the matte color, and I wanted something slightly smaller so it could stay on my bathroom sink all the time. It arrived, and it's adorable. I like the feel of it. It's like rubber, but not grippy like. It seems to repel dust well, so that's definitely a plus! I got a little eager to remove all the stickers all over the mirror, and it was still extremely cold from being delivered (I live in MN), so they didn't peel off as clean as I would have liked. I'm not sure, however, if it was because of the cold or the stickers itself. All in all, I really like the mirror, it's been great, it looks great, and it is exactly what I wanted in a mirror!

This is a great mirror. I get tired of the concave mirrors that distort one's face. This one is only slightly concave & the magnification is perfect for me. This is my second mirror. My first mirror, just like this one but purchased from another source, fell off the countertop, breaking the mirror! The store, where I purchased the first one, no longer carried the mirror. I was delighted to find it on line! It is a very sturdy, light weight mirror. I have tucked it in my suitcase, in between clothing, & it travels well.

I absolutely love this mirror. A few days before purchasing it on Amazon I saw it in the store. I was so excited but when I turned the magnifying side around there was a big crack all the way through the mirror & of course it was the last one left. I was so disappointed because I loved the feel of the material & it had 12X magnification. Oh my! I really didn't like what I saw that up close & personal but I needed to see it. It was a few dollars less in the store but I still thought $19.99 was a good deal. The only thing I would change about the mirror is the stand. I wish it was a little bit taller. Other than that... PERFECTION.

FINALLY, a tabletop makeup magnification mirror that actually lets me see clearly those pesky little eyebrow hairs and facial blemishes! I bought a 10x magnification mirror from Amazon to replace the tabletop makeup mirror my cat knocked over and broke. But the 10x replacement mirror's magnification wasn't strong enough, so back to Amazon I go. This one has a low center of gravity to prevent the cat from doing damage, a 12x magnification, and a great price. It's also sturdy and compact enough for travel. I am pleased!

The mirror itself is fine. It looks nice and has pretty strong magnification. Points were taken off for the shipping method. It arrived in only a soft bubble mailer. A mirror in a bubble mailer? No box? It's any wonder that it didn't break! If the mirror itself had been packaged in a box and then put in the bubble mailer, that's one thing. But a loose, unpackaged mirror should have been put in shipping box with air cushions. We consider ourselves lucky with this one, but others should know how these mirrors are shipped. If you have rougher carriers, yours may arrive broken because of the poor packing.

Not sure what I did wrong purchasing but the magnifying side you have to literally be up on the mirror and at that point its too close to see anything. I gave it to my grand daughter to play with lol
