Physiology of Behavior, 12/e

I mostly liked this purchase, thought it was a good value. It's in black and white so some of the illustrations meant to be in color were less useful. However, in chapters 14 and 15 (and some chapters beyond though not as extensive) there was unreadable text/gibberish text on each page.

It is exactly the same as the new edition minus the access card. Saved over $100. Came in great shape.

If you are interested in neuropsychology this is a great book. It tends to get down to fine understanding and explaining CNS processes. From this foundation one can look to current literature for even more in depth knowledge, although it often seems to become speculative. The scaffolding technique of learning provided is effective. This version, however, has the diagrams and illustrations in poor black and white and they are not helpful. I finally decided to buy the international version, and it makes a world of difference. I would advise that one spends the bit more, and in return one will get so much more out of the book.

This is not an original book, all the diagrams and photographs are in black and white rendering this useless.Would have given this 0 stars if I could.

The book is not the original edition and is hard to read as the black and white printing is very poor , tippex has been used on the back to cover something up and an odd sticker stuck on it ,very disappointed
