Pads for attachment to the MultiMax MM40 do not fit.
We thought the holes in the pad attachments looked a little small in the photos on Amazon in comparison to our old original 3" triangular pad. We based that on our perception of the hole size as a ratio between the hole and the overall pad size. We thought we would try the kit anyway, given the price. When the kit came, the pads would not fit on our Dremel Multi Max MM40 when we tried to attach them, both the triangular 3" pad and the finger pad. The reviewer who said the holes are too small is correct. Maybe the reviewer who bought these and said they work great was thinking of the sanding paper. Those can be used on pads already installed on the Multi Max.

could be better, but It should not be in stainless steel!
Do you know when you miss for not investing more in a project or purely exaggerate in adding too much. Its the case of this little pads here.It should not be in stainless steel. It absorbs twice as much of heat in the friction process and it get ruined faster than you can even do the job.So, heres my tip. check all official brands materials. None of them uses stainless steel in their blades. And guys, please. make option of chose the grit available too. Seriously all those pads with not identifications and fine and gross grit altogether is just a mess.

Melted Quickly
This item uses a hook-and-loop attachment system. Somewhere between engineering, materials selection, and production, the temperature endurance requirements were mismanaged. Both the larger pad and the finger pad melted within four or five uses. This was especially frustrating because they came with 27 pads, and I only used 8-10 before both were useless. In fact, they began melting upon the first use.I was using a Chicago Electric http://www.amazon.com/Chicago-Electric-Power-Oscillating-Multifunction/dp/B0074JTRIQ . Perhaps it is just particularly hot, but I doubt it. These require higher-temperature-tolerant plastic hooks to be effective. I'll give the DeWalt a try and report back.Check out the photos. The tip of the smaller pad melted (that should be the most-resilient part, since it gets the most use) and the hooks on the larger one just fell off after a short amount of use.The reason they get two stars is because they worked really well while they were intact. This made it all the more frustrating when they fell apart.

Beware! These attachments are NOT compatible with all Fein Multimasters
I purchased this to sand into small spaces in furniture I am making. I go to attach it to mu Fein Multimaster and it DOES NOT fit. My Multimaster fits Starlock and Starlock Plus and this will not attach.

Very Nice Tool
I purchased and used this on my cordless oscillating tool and it works great. The velcro pad attachment holds the paper very firmly to the plate just as good as my other sander that has adhesive pads. Very happy with the purchase.

The sand paper is just fine. The large sanding pad works ok
The sand paper is just fine. The large sanding pad works ok. The "Finger Shaped" sanding pad is a huge problem. After a very short period of use, less than 45 minutes, the plastic pad surface melted and lost it's ability to hold the hook and loop sandpaper. It actually disintegrated. The main reason for my purchase was to get the finger shaped sander to get into tight spaces, and I thought I would be able to use the extra sandpaper. Now, the fingerpad is useless, and so is the finger sized paper. I do not recommend this product.

Bought for finger sander.
People have trouble with the velcro melting. Well, any sanding pad used too hard will get hot and melt with a multi tool if not used correctly. Mine is working great and I'm using it on fiberglass in hard to reach areas. Beats hand sanding anytime. Just use it at lower speeds and let the sandpaper do the work. Don't force it faster then the paper can work if you were using your finger. The price is right and it works with my rigid jobmax multi tool.

Adequate but not an assortment as advertised
All the sandpaper was the same grit. The big ones were all 240 and the smaller one were all 120. Quality of the attachments is adequate for occasional use but daily wouldn’t be a good idea. A lot cheaper than in the store so I’m ok that I didn’t get an assortment as advertised.
