LIQUITEX Professional Gouache Acrylic Extra Fine Low Viscocity Essential Colors Set 12 x 20ml

I bought the art materials for my son and he is delighted with them.

Good range of colours, excellent dispensing.

If you want a lighter colour just add white and you get a lovely colour, love them.

Some arrived with a bit of spillage like others have said, but nothing I couldn't rescue. Not very big, so comparatively expensive vs 'normal' acrylic/gouache but needs must! Fluid consistency, paints on nicely, opaque and matt.

The only downside of these paints they are difficult to unpack as the paint gets every where and that lids are tricky to get on and off. However, the paint quality is fantastic, a good hybrid of gouache and acrylic paint and not too expensive.

Love these paints, I’ve used them before and they are super smooth. These were delivered packed well but in opening 2 colours were more than half empty and thick and gloopy

I am not rating the product itself, but packaging and delivery. Unfortunately 2 bottles were open when they arrived. I don't want to bother with sending it back and waiting for a new one. I cleaned it and will use it, but it is difficult to say for how long the bottles were open as some of the paint which spilled out in the box was quite dry already.

There ARE brushstrokes and the colours are neither flat nor solid. Very disappointing - I'll go back to cheaper solid body acrylics

The colours are vibrant and the containers are sturdy. Its a small amount of paint, but I expected that. This is a good way of getting the smooth and bold gauche colours qhile having a sturdy and waterproof meduim. I use it together with my acrylic to really make things interesting. 10/10 exactly what I was looking for.

A wonderful acrylic gouache for professional use, their lightfastness rates beat other brands, this is an important aspect to consider if you sell your work. Consistent opacity throughout all colors, beautiful matte finish and also highly pigmented. The colors in this set are ideal and you can mix pretty much any color from it and then decide which ones to buy in a larger bottle. Good value for money especially for a professional grade paint. Use them with a wet palette as you would with traditional acrylic paint so that they don’t dry too quickly.

Love this product! Such a perfect way to try out a range of colours and mix any colour you want! I highly recommend this if you’re just dabbling into Acrylic Gouache painting! These paints are pigmented mix well with water and each other! Can not get enough of them!! 10/10!! P.S don’t judge my painting skills... or lack there of! 😂 this is just an example of them used as they come out of the bottle!
