Soft and strong, but not colorfast, even in cold water.
Having just returned another set of towels, I'm loathe to return another. Don't get me wrong, these seem well-made and soft and fluffy. But in an initial cold-water wash, two of the towels had their color fade in splotches. To be clear, this was in a cold-water wash with no other clothes in the cycle and a quarter cup of regular Gain detergent. That's just ridiculous.

These towels are not absorbent.
I was very disappointed that these nicely advertised towels were not absorbent. I was still wet after trying to dry off with these towels.

Way Too Thin! Skip Them
This set of six towels is thinner than 2 of my year-old towels which were less than half the price of this "luxury" set. They are going back!

Discolored
First washing, the color faded and spotted. Not useful for decoration any more since the grey bled to a pinkish color.

Very affordable, luxurious towels
I was delighted with my purchase of these towels. To start, I ordered them at 4:00 in the afternoon and got them the very next day. Don’t know if that’s the norm or if they have a distribution center nearby. I was super happy and surprised.As far as the towels themselves, they were beautifully wrapped in a silk bow, which made for a classy presentation! They are oversized and very fluffy and soft – especially so after the initial wash. They remind me of the towels they have at fancy day spas. They look gorgeous hanging on the towel rack and that makes me very happy.I can’t speak to longevity, but my first impression of the towels is that they are very well made and are going to last longer than your everyday run of the mill towels. If the last even a percentage longer than our old towels, I will be 100% sold.So overall, I am very pleased with this affordable luxury purchase and will most likely continue ordering them in the future.

Good towels but not the best at absorbing water
The towels are nice looking and feel great.. although they don’t absorb extremely well- at least compared to the polo towels i bought last year. When used in the clothes dryer they leave a tremendous amount of fabric in lint tray when finished. Overall they work well but could be better- especially for a product marketed as 800gsm.

Poor Quality. Poor weave.
Lots of loose threads and loops - lines through all the towels I received. If I hadn't already washed them, I would return them. They are not a quality towel that I expected. Very disappointed especially given the high ratings from others. The towels I received were seconds but not described that way!
