Interesting game
Interesting game although if I knew witchcraft was a prominent theme of this I would not have purchased it for my God-loving children. Praise be!

Not for me
I wanted to like this game but but I couldn’t ,it didn't feel like elder scrolls at all, with repetitive fetch quests and the rate of respawning enemies it ruined it.This game is pointless to me

Change of rating, NOT VERY GOOD! UPDATED!!
This is a change (5 to 2) of rating. I returned a previous purchase last year (around Aug 2020) of the STANDARD version (problems with it), and reordered this version when it went on sale thinking the problems were fixed. I didn't play it for awhile (playing the Destiny series still) then 2 months ago I installed this version. Started out fine for a month, and then when I got to levels 250+ on "Champions", I noticed all kinds of annoying issues. 2 of the MAIN DLC/adventures wouldn't finish. You'd get to the end and you couldn't click on the last object to collect and complete that journey. I went online to find out what was what, and there is still (over 4 weeks now) no fix to the bug(s). So I can't complete the MAIN STORY line....LMAO. ALSO, you walk in some of the caves and suddenly FALL through into space...and have to exit out of the game losing your present position. Game freezes...lags....ugh! I switched from WiFi to direct LAN line and nothing improves. The LAST thing...are the PEOPLE themselves who get in your way CONSTANTLY....stealing your goals and objectives ALL THE TIME! I'm sorry, but this game has suddenly gotten REALLY Fn ANNOYING, and not enjoyable to play at all. Wanna have some real fun....play SKYRIM by yourself, and have a REALLY GOOD time.UPDATED: I'm spending more and more time now either dodging other players or reporting the CONSTANT HARASSMENTS of these players. I've seen this in other games like Destiny 1 and 2, where players sit around and wait for you, then destroy everything to ruin your progress. OR, they actually follow you around and do the same thing. I spend time starting missions only to have players dropping in (mysteriously...poof there they are) or arriving to destroy/ruin everything. The game is barely playable at times. I've decided I'll need to record the times of when the least amount of people are online, and try to get things done. It's like the game is trying to force me to play in "Multi" mode vs. Solo.

Great Value for ESO beginners and base game players
I bought this for the dlc, because if you buy the dlc pack in the crown store it cost more than this physical copy that includes the first four dlcs and the base game. Overall a great value for beginners to the game and people who do not own any of the first four dlcs.

Damage
I’m giving three stars because it came early BUT the case came broken and the CD wasn’t secured in the case. I’ll change my review if the game is good and the CD turns out to be not scratched. But if it’s scratched I'm going to be very upset.

Elder Scrolls, what's not to like?
I prefer their previous games, not on-line, but it's still a good game. If you want to play the whole game be prepared to shell out a lot more money down the road!

Improved Massively Since Launch (contains micro-transactions).
I stayed away at launch due to the membership costs, expensive initial price, and bad reviews of the game. It really missed a trick when it was launched, and gave a horrendous first impression of the new Zenimax Online studios. However, this game has since massively improved. I tried this game initially on Xbox Game Pass and fell in love with it! The monthly membership price has been removed (Still need Xbox Live), the initial price for the Gold edition was excellent, and they're still churning out new content like there's no tomorrow! The community is huge with so many people still online, and all the major launch bugs have been fixed (read: MAJOR, still buggy here and there). The game now heavily uses microtransactions to keep the game afloat in lieu of the forced monthly membership. However, these are NOT pay-to-win. You can easily go on by without these items (normally cosmetic), and they do still have a membership option (ESO Gold) that gives you some more options to use, and also grants you a monthly allowance of credits. If you collect the daily login reward, you'll soon find you don't actually need to purchase these, and so can happily go on without encountering this. As much as I hate to admit, the MTS has been pulled off well.Still not convinced? Check out Xbox Games Pass and try the base game edition before purchasing, and I guarantee MMORPG fans will be buying this Gold edition afterwards! This review doesn't extend to Fallout 76 at the moment. Clearly Zenimax Online enjoyed failing their launch and decided to fail again for the sake of it...
