I bought this pool over a year ago and it's been a great experience. Easy to put up and it's very forgiving especially in regard to level the ground. We tried to level the ground before we put it up and it was not that level but again it's very forgiving. I would suggest adding a skimmer which is extra but well worth it and also putting bricks where the pole is as they sometimes can sink in. Can't think of any problem I had with it.

We're thrilled with this pool. It's turned out fantastic and our kids are having a blast. The install is hard work, but it's a simple process despite the instructions being confusing. The pool comes with a sand filter and after researching that's what ultimate sold me on this pool.

Best pool anyone can buy.

This pool can be a little of a task to set up but not too horrible. My husband, my daughter and I managed to get the frame up and start filling it in just a few hours. The floats it came with are great. Also came with a sand filter ( sand not included) and skimmer basket. The pump is efficient for this pool as far as i can tell. It circulates the water good. The pool seems pretty sturdy so far. It is really big so be sure you have plenty of room. The included ladder doesnt seem to be the best quality but it does work okay. We will probably end up using a different one for the long run. The delivery company did not contact me before an 18 wheeler showed up at my house (i happened to be home) but other than that it was quick shipping. Overall, I would recommend this pool.

When the pool was delivered the box was damaged and when I inspected the one of the pool legs was bent. Chasing down who was going to replace it has been a task.

This is our third Intex above ground pool. Each one lasts about 4 years, before the pipes rust out, which is understandable considering we have a saltwater system also from Intex.I like simple design - soft sides, round curved bottom corners, and powerful pump. I combined it with the Intex saltwater & Ozone system, which works great when it works.I highly recommend you spend effort on setting it up well - get a smooth and flat yard area - I used a 12"x12" x 2" thick paver in the center and screeded sand in a circle using a straight 2x4 12' long. Then I got a heavy duty single piece pad 27' round to soften any bumps from rocks and make the bottom smoother. I also buried 12"x12"x2" square pavers under each post to distribute the load from the posts so the posts don't sink in the ground and make the top edges uneven.I also really like the pool filter balls in lieu of sand in the filter - just find some good ones that won't fall apart.It can be very difficult to get the last horizontal piece installed - I had to get creative and pry like crazy to get it to fit, but I only have to do that once for the entire life of the pool.My son loves the inflatable pool float chairs and the floating cooler holder. He took the lid off, climbed in and used it as a boat! Super fun.I highly recommend you get this Ultra XTR version and not the lesser quality versions. My neighbor got the cheap Intex version and it died after one season.I also like the above ground pools because the pool itself is a fence to keep little kids out of it. And in a few years, I can just throw it away if I don't want a pool any more - very little long term commitment.

My daughter set this pool up. In two days we was swimming. Only bad thing is we had to buy extra pool stuff like a float, net, robot, and hoses to finish setting the pool up. We have been using it all summer so far.
