Amazing! 3 day use brought humidity down from 62% to 43%
I purposely bought this dehumidifier since it has 2 intake vents to absorb moisture (top/front), compared to other designs that only have 1 in the front. I also appreciate being able to see and check on the amount of collected water through its semi-transparent plastic tank. To test effectiveness, I used a humidity gauge to measure the level of humidity where I planned to use this device. It was 62% humidity under my kitchen sink, and after about 3 days of this Bioxo Dehumidifier being on for 24/7, this amazing machine brought it down to 43% with a half-full tank of water already collected. I was beyond surprised and really happy, as the musty odor also disappeared. The other things I noticed was that you definitely can hear this thing run (think speaking-level white noise) and the air also got hotter in temperature as the bottom of my kitchen sink got drier. If Bioxo is open to future improvements, I would request that the power cord be longer since I had to use an extension cord to have this reach the counter outlet from the kitchen floor. Also, I wish there was a self draining hole and tube to allow continuous or automatic draining into a sink or larger bucket - perhaps create a hole where the screw tightens into the top lid of the tank and add a silicon plug/gasket there for those who don't need to have it self-drain.Honestly, overall, I am VERY pleased with this purchase and hope this dehumidifier continues to work for a long time.

Love it!
I bought this dehumidifier in August 2019, so I’ve been using it for 3-4 months. My fish room (a roughly 10’x11’ sq. ft. carpeted bedroom) is lined with fish tanks on 2 walls and it was getting humid and musty in there. At first when I unpackaged the dehumidifier, I was worried it was going to be too small to attract all the moisture in the air. Yeah, I was wrong. The dehumidifier was so easy to set up. It was just a matter of putting the collection tank into it and plugging it in. Within 24 hours of the dehumidifier running, the room was SO much less humid and the odor was gradually being eliminated! After several days, the room wasn’t humid at all and the odor was gone. Every few days, the little tank would be full of water and all I had to do was press the power button, pull the tank drawer out, dump it in the sink/plants, put the tank drawer back in, and power it up again. When the tank was getting too full, the normally green power button turned orange to notify me of its fullness. I thought that was super cute and helpful, lol.Now it’s the end of December, so it’s pretty dry outside and the tank is filling up only every couple of weeks. Seems like I’ll only need to use it when it gets warmer out!TL;DRThis thing is inexpensive, quiet, easy to use, and very effective in eliminating humidity!

little foot print, big difference.
Great little machine, does very well at removing any extra moisture from the room. The only problem is, maybe not a problem at all... but for energy efficiency, it doesn't shut off at all. It just runs, and runs, and keeps running. It doesn't have a humidistat to tell it to turn off at any certain % it detects. I can't put it on a timer, as you would have to turn it back on manually after each shut down. Very quiet, and takes up very little space. Just improve it by adding a humidity indicator so it shuts off once in a while.

Real buyer, Real review, nice!
Unit is very small, takes up very little space and is whisper quiet, I can barely hear it up close and had to feel if air was coming out the top to see if its on, It sips power ( a couple hundred watts) and the power cord is long enough to reach from the top of a bookcase to the power strip on my desk. the light is pretty bright but wont be an issue unless you are using it at night in a bedroom, I prefer the bright light so I can tell its operational from far away. It uses a simple peltier thermoelectric cooler design and there isn't much to it so less stuff to break on the inside. The clear water collection tank is a nice addition allowing you to see If its about time to dump it out. If the tank gets full it merely shuts off until you dump it out which some older dehumidifiers don't do. Its lightweight, simple, small, doesn't rob too much power, looks good and takes moisture out of the air so I have no issues.

Didnt work out. Need a bigger stronger one.
Just needed something small to help ease the humidity in our bathroom since there is only a tiny window above the shower that we only crack open. The air vent only works when the light switch is on.Well it is much smaller than i anticipated!! But i thought id give it a try! We ran it a few days and no water was collected so i read the manual to see if maybe were doing something wrong! Tried it again for another few days and nothing... after being frustrated a second time we put it under the sink so when my fiance had time to figure it out it'd be there. We forgot about it a few weeks and by then the return window was passed... We decided to give it one last shot but instead run it a full week this time thinking maybe we werent letting it run long enough! So after letting it run for 6-7 days we checked the water catcher and there was like not even a forth of water in the entire thing. Im thinking there is way more steam and humidity in our bathroom to only collect a forth of water!! Im not sure if it is accurately like this and we bought something too small for the area needed or if it just isnt strong enough to run as a dehumidifier. My bathroom is approximately 6 by 7 feet... Not too big. I am not sure exactly what is the size limit for this. I understand i bought a mini size one but i thought it would work better than this. If i do the math correctly it would take a full month to reach an inch of water? I dont know if that is correct? Anyway the quality and design of it is very nice and modern looking. I wouldnt have minded keeping it running if it worked as i expected. With that being said i feel i need a much more powerful dehumidifier! If it were stronger then i would be satisfied.
