These replacement pads are very good at about a third of the cost of Sony pads. The headphones sound good and the pads sit comfortably on my ears. Not to thick and feel soft when wearing, just right for me.As for the install, it was a struggle. The provided tool was of no help (your mileage may vary) and it did feel at times impossible or likely that they would rip apart. But after an extended effort they did finally go on and fit the earpieces perfectly.Expect a struggle, but they are worth it. Hopefully they will last longer than the Sony replacements, which lasted about 3 years of occasional use.

These are great replacements for the stock earpads on my 7506’s which were falling apart. Replacing the covers was relatively easy—only difficult enough to reassure me that they wouldn’t slip off while using my headphones. I was nervous that I would tear them with the plastic tool that was included, but it served its purpose and the pleather held strong.While the sides are pleather, the front of these is fabric. For now, I like that better, but time will tell how much oil and sweat they absorb.The first time I put my headphones on with these earpads on them my genuine reaction, out loud, was “ooooohh!”. The cooling sensation is legit, and because my headphones feel cooler they feel lighter too.While the difference in comfort is significant, I haven’t noticed a significant difference in sound, which is perfect for these headphones.

OK, these isolate the sound much better than the original ear cups from Sony on my Studio Monitor cans. They are cool when I first put them on and stay cooler than anything else I have tried (and I have the hair to help heat things up). I was happy to find them and I think they are a great value for your money. Not sure how long they will last just yet, but they seem to be high quality materials. They even tried to help get them on with a little tool that comes with the cups. However, I was just ditch it and do it with your fingers. They stretch very well and return to their original size and shape. Very Nice!

They are a pain to install, but once they're one they feel great. I found it easiest to turn the flaps you put the actual headphones in inside-out, place the pad against the earphone, and then slowly fold the flaps back right-side-in around the headphones. I hate leather pads since they make my ears sweat. These are a breathable memory foam and I haven't experienced any discomfort wearing them for up to 8 hours. I would buy them again.

The earpads on my Sony headphones were showing wear so I replaced them with these. They were a little hard to get on, but I was able to do it in the end. They look and feel just like the original earpads.
