This Splahguard works and that is why I give it 5 stars. Its fits snugly in a wide mouth Nalgene and keeps water from spilling all over you. This thing has been around the world with me and still works. It is easy to clean and does not change shape over time so it still fits great. It is also designed well because you can fill your bottle up without taking it off. The design also looks good and the rubber is all one piece. (Some rubbers with multiple colors have separate pours for each color so they can come apart over time) I cannot really understand why this product does not get 5 stars. It is cheap and provides more features than the brand name Splashguard.

I really enjoy the splash guard I bought for my Nalgene bottle. It fits the large opening perfectly and does exactly what its supposed to do. The first time I attempted to use it, I did push it down too far past the opening of the bottle which resulted in it falling to the bottom of my bottle but it stays perfectly in place just resting right on top of the opening. I have been using it every day for weeks now and have no problems. It holds up in the dishwasher which makes cleaning it super simple and easy. I've had my water bottle practically forever and although I do like its carrying capacity, I don't like how difficult it can be at times to drink out of. Especially if I am trying to drink as I am walking or doing some other task. The splash guard fixes that. Shipment was fast as expected. Overall a great purchase.

Looks like you need a SPLASHGUARD! You'll be glad you did. Never again will I look like an clumsy oaf walking around with a huge liquid stain down the front of my shirt and pants. Gone are the days of almost drowning when I try to take a cautious swig of water when I'm trapped in bumper-to-bumper rush hour traffic. Sure, the thing smells a little rubbery when you first pull it out of its little baggy. But give it a quick wash, plug it into the mouth of your bottle (it fits as snug as a bug in a rug), and bring it up to your own mouth for the most satisfying, thirst-quenching drink of your life. Prepare for that day, because you will never forget it.

I'm SO glad that I found this handy little splash guard. I love my Nalgene wide mouth water bottle but I hated trying to drink from it without spilling or splashing water in my face...especially while moving. This wonderful splash guard solves all of that. It fits perfectly, stays put and keeps me dry. It's very easy to use, easy to remove for cleaning and it doesn't create any funny tastes in the water. One of the best purchases I've made in a while! I highly recommend this!

This product did not fit as advertised. It was too small and kept falling into the water bottle. They say it will fit all wide mouth water bottles but if you have a 40oz Hydroflask then look somewhere else.
