Was finally able to put the sun rider back on the JKU today and thought it would be a good time to install the shade. It works great! I have not installed the back yet, but I'm sure it's a nice as the front. Not gonna lie, I popped myself a few times with the straps because they are a little challenging to get on. However, it's nice that they are so snug because it allows that nice, tight fit. Has great coverage versus being exposed directly to the sun which I'm sure will help keep it a little cooler in the spring/summer. I have not yet tried to store anything in it or use it as a hammock but plan to try it out as soon as the top and doors are off permanently for the summer. I was also able to put to soft top back down by removing the two bungees that fit around the latch retainers on the front. Nice you don't have to take it off and on anytime you want the top down so this will be a permanent fixture in my Wrangler. Will update the review if I experience any issues with it. Overall 5/5 stars and highly recommend.*Update: back is installed and fits perfectly. Much easier to install than the front as the bungees are all longer. Looks great and will be a permanent fixture even with the top on. Nice tight fit so no flapping or wind noise that I've noticed while driving.

This fit my 2017 JKU perfectly. It was easy to install, you do have to pull those bungees to their limits. Very tight with no sag. Looks like a good quality shade that will last a long time. I am super happy with the looks and use of this shade. Really adds to the jeep. I have a soft top so it is a little hard to close and lock down the front. I ended up just keeping the front 2 side bungees off. They are easy enough to throw back on when I take the top off. Just dropped them in the glove box handle bag for easy access. And I wanted to mention the storage bag it was shipped in is really nice. Zipper bag with a handle if you need to remive the shade at some point. I'm sure I'll use this for something else since I see no reason to ever take it off.

2012 Wrangler Sahara 4-door.A bit tricky to install but with an extra set of hands we got it. We were able to put the top on over it, but had to take off 3 bungees, however they are the easiest ones to put back on, literally seconds. The visor is built well, not weak, I really pulled on it during the install and no issues. Once in place it did not move. It did flex a little on the highway, but it was minimal. The fit is perfect. Haven't had to remove it but seems it would be easy, but no need if you don't mind it in place with the top on.

Seems like good quality. Only had it for a week so we'll see about durability, but feels sturdy. Blocks the sun well. The holes in the middle that are supposed to line up with the roll cage don't exactly, but fairly close.It attaches with bungee cords. Be careful with those. Make sure they're securely attached. During install, one of mine came loose and hit me in the eye and I went blind in that eye for a couple days. Be careful. Invest in eye protection.

I have owned the more expensive sun shades, and I love this one just as much as the others. This comes with all the bands needed to securely attach to your jeep roll bars and fits very well. I bought this one for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I love the vibrant color of the orange. The sun shade it provides is nice to keep you from cooking in the sun while sitting at stoplights or hanging in your Jeep at a Jamboree. It also reduces the wind noise a bit while driving topless or naked. Comes with a "catch-all" bag that easily attaches to the dash grab handle on the passenger side. Also comes with a carry bag, though I leave mine on year-round with the hard top installed.

Love this product and it works great for my 2014 Wrangler. Worked so I great I bought one for my wife's 2018 Wrangler... bad idea... I should have checked because the two vehicles are JUST different enough so that the product doesn't properly fit hers. BUT. That's on me! It still looks good and is functional on both vehicles, even though it doesn't fit properly on hers. Love it and recommend it. Just be sure you get the right one for your make/model/year vehicle. Installability, I'd give it about three stars out of five. Not really easy to install. But, certainly doable for the average do-it-yourselfer. Just plan on some sore muscles because those bungy cords that hold it down got some serious torque to them. Oh and get a wire if you don't remove the shell completely before installing.(like something around clothes hanger wire thickness or slightly thinner or more flexible). You'll need that to thread it. that'll make sense when installing and you can thank me later.

Excellent quality. Feels like a flexible plastic. I loved it so much I gifted my friend a front panel for her Jeep after installing my larger shade.I bought the 4 door JKU shade in purple because somebody asked if you need to remove the top to install it. The vendor said you don't. That's both true and false.I had to remove the freedom panels and all the screws from the hard top to lift the hard top up an inch and slide the shade above the overhead radio speakers because there are two rubber supports under the hard top plus screws for the freedom panels in some Jeep models... if it was completely hollow there then you really could install it without unscrewing/lifting up the top.You can leave the shade on and put back the freedom panels but it just ads a few extra steps to remove/install the panels. I'm a short person (5'3") and I can reach the center of the freedom panels without removing the shade. If you have shorter arms it might be impossible.The 3 inch bungee cords are a bit hard to pull on when you tighten everything so I use a lanyard by weaving it through the bungee and the anchor points. It's easier to pull that way because you have a full grip vs just your finger tips.The color is accurate in the company pictures but obviously looks darker in some pictures than others.I have the American Flag one in my wish list now.
