Love these products
I am an elementary PE teacher as well as an adult bootcamp instructor. I was searching online for ides and came across Kaizen Fitness. As I looked at the samples and read through some of the articles on the site I really fell in love with everything Kaizen had to offer. I have five of the books and four of them are my go to resources. I always refer to them first when looking for ideas. The bootcamp workout ideas 1 and 2 were the first that I got. Then the boxing ideas book. By the time the bodyweight workout book was being produced, I knew I would get it. I'm happy I did.It is shorter than the others, but that's ok. More workouts would have been great...maybe a future edition, who knows. But what is there is golden. It's broken up into strength, HIT, teamwork, running, etc. like the other books, there are also cool warm up games and routines. If I don't use the workout exactly as is, I may tweak it a little, but the ideas are great. They help open up my imagination. It gets tough trying to think of something creative and fresh and fun by myself. And looking online can be good, but also just as taxing on my mind. Having these books solves those issues. Now back to the categories. There is a neat little iconic graphic that shows where on the spectrum each particular workout fits. I like that because the way my company structures the workouts we focus on endurance one week, then functionality, hi intensity intervals, then metabolic conditioning, which could be a combination of any of the previous weeks. Generally all I need to do is look at the icon to give me an idea of what each workout is like. The only drawback is that the description of the icon and it's meaning is not actually in the book. The only reason I know is because I have workouts volume 2 where the pictures are explained. BUT, that's not a reason to boo-hoo the products. All the workouts can be tailored to fit whatever type of workout that is necessary. I've totally taken workouts and changed them to fit my focus.Another good thing is that the author, Garry, communicates with folks. I had an issue early on and he responded to me and fixed the problem. It's good to actually be able to talk to him and ask questions. I feel like I know him and he is invested in my success, even from thousands of miles away.My campers really enjoy the workouts we do and a bunch of them are from Kaizen. All in all, I don't know where I would be without these resources. Based on what I've seen so far, I am a Kaizen customer for life. I will buy anything they put out.

You have found what you are looking for. Awesome!
My relationship with Garry is unique in that I know him personally. So I thought I would focus on that in my review as there are already plenty of reviews telling you how awesome this book is (it is - but we'll get to that later).Garry has the type of personality that some would call a perfectionist. There is no way he would release a book without making sure that he has:A) covered every possible question that you might have.B) made something with immense value for money.C) ensured that everything is technically correct by checking with other experts. His conscience would simply forbid him from doing otherwise. It is quite amusing to watch. As a result each of his training manuals are of the highest standard. The workouts are innovative and interesting. The explanations and diagrams are clear and well worded and the books themselves look great. This would be a great addition to your shelf. The bodyweight drills are perfect for any beginning or minimalist trainer. I highly recommend it and Garry!- Kyle Wood

Great asset to any Bootcamp Instructor's Toolbox!
I've been using Bootcamp Bodyweight Workouts for several months now, even adjusting many of the workouts to an indoor environment, and the response has been HUGE! I'll let a few of my participants' email comments speak for themselves!"I LOVE your workouts! I can't imagine anyone else can make me work as hard as you do, and I still enjoy it!" -Debbie M."No one does it quite like you!" -Ashley T."Thank you for all of your encouragement, support, and workouts that inspire me to reach for the next level!" -Kathy H.I'm so glad I bought this! Shhhhh...it's an instructor's secret weapon!Kristi in Maryland

Awesome Book for new workout ideas!
I have purchased all of Garry's books and LOVE them all. It was the best purchase I have made and my clients have enjoyed the new workout ideas. There are a lot of other workout books out there and I have to say this is my #1 go to book. Easy to follow and lots of new exercises to keep things interesting. This book it great for trainers or for people that want workout ideas.
