High quality and perfect for Roccbox and other patio pizza ovens!!
Great quality product and great price! Sturdy, easy to take apart and clean. Withstands 900 degree heat. I use these to turn pizzas in my Roccbox pizza oven and they're awesome! These are FAR easier than removing/turning with the launching peel or using a dedicated a turning peel in such a small oven. If the hydration of the dough is high, sometimes I will have to unseat it after the initial 15-30 seconds with the launching peel, then use these to turn. Most importantly, with these you can keep the pizza both in the oven the entire cooking duration and turn in the same spot during cooking. Every detail matters when you're trying to craft that perfect Neapolitan pizza! Can't lose at this price. Sold for double or more by boutique yuppie shops! Cheers!

Quality and smart
Good brand name product. This turning peel is good quality and it has a few added features that work. It has a sliding handle that keeps your hands out of the oven and it is long enough to keep you away from the heat. Also, the handle comes off for storage. Worth the extra few bucks.

Solid Pizza Peel with Great Reach – A Few Potential Design Flaws
This pizza peel has several well-thought-out design elements that make it stand out in its price range. Pros: - Extended Reach: The handle measures 19", and the sturdy metal mounting stem adds over 21" of total reach—great for safely maneuvering pizzas, breads, meats or flimsy aluminum pans w/ food in and out of hot ovens, or grills. - Lightweight Wood Handle: The handle feels lightweight and comfortable in hand, with what appears to be a leather hanging loop at the end—convenient for storage. - Secure Mounting: The peel head is connected with four solid rivets arranged in a pattern that should resist loosening or wobbling over time. - Thread Quality: The high thread-per-inch count on the handle connection helps keep the handle locked tightly in place during use. Cons: - Handle Mount Durability: While the threaded metal insert is initially tight, the way it’s anchored in the softwood handle may not hold up over time. Repeated tightening and removal could eventually cause it to loosen in the wood. - Glued Connection: It appears the manufacturer used glue to strengthen this bond, but I believe a better mechanical solution is needed—such as a hardwood handle or additional reinforcement. My Fix: If this issue arises, I plan to secure the insert using a tapered screw or a punch to create deeper pressure for added grip. I've included photos so you can better see the construction details I’m referring to. Overall, I think this is a great peel for the price, with just one area to watch for long-term durability. A little reinforcement and it should last a long time.

Worked perfectly
I am still learning how to make pizza in my Chicago Brick Oven. The learning curve is steep from stretching the dough properly (I am still using premade frozen dough balls) to launching the pizza into the oven without sticking to the peel. This peel, however, makes turning the pizza in the oven the easiest part of the process.

Perfect size, great quality
Not too big, not too small, this is the perfect size for turning and removing pizzas from our Ooni Fyra which has a 12” opening. The quality and thickness of the stainless steel peel and the removable genuine wooden handle are aspects of a good quality product, which is greatly appreciated these days. Easy to use, easy to clean and store.

Game changer to my pizza making game!
I recently picked up this pizza wheel, and I have to say, it's been a game changer in my pizza-making adventures! The first time I used it, I felt like a pro chef sliding my homemade pizza into the oven. The wooden surface gives just the right amount of grip, making it easy to transfer the pizza from the counter to the oven without any mess. I really appreciate the sturdy construction; it feels like it can withstand all my dough-flinging antics without warping or bending. Plus, the size is perfect—big enough to hold a large pizza but not so huge that it’s cumbersome to store. Cleaning is a breeze too; a quick wipe-down is all it usually needs after a session. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. If you're into making pizza at home, I highly recommend giving a pizza peel a try. It adds a touch of authenticity and makes the whole process a lot smoother!

Only 11.5" wide
Nice peel, but is not 12" wide. It's 11.5" wide. Make it an inch wider.

It is very convenient to use and big enough to make a big pizza.

This peel is awesome. Easy to assemble, pretty durable, light, and nimble. I've used it for a lot of stuff, but for pizza its perfect. The smooth handle, polished aluminum, and tough, riveted joint make it quite nice to use. What I also found however, is that it makes a fantastic fan for the smoke alarm. When the pizza comes out of the oven with all that burning flour and pepperoni edges and whatnot, you can put the pizza down and you already have a fan in your hand. Just don't go too hard, or you'll bend it a couple degrees like I did. Pretending it was a weapon did not help. One nitpick though, the angled grind on the end seems to be backwards. I find it easier to use with the logo-down. Doesn't really matter though. Great peel at a great price. Easy to transport, and is also a well designed fan.

So far so good. The spatula part of it is perfect, steal with a relatively sharp edge. Slid cleanly under our homemade pizza. At first I wasn't sure about the wooden handle, but it seems very solid while I was using it. Time will tell for sure, but so far it is perfect and I am very satisfied.

The only thing holding me back from giving this a 5-star rating is that the threading they used is so fine that it takes some time to put it together or take it apart. Other than that good product. It even has one beveled edge for easier use.
