Paragon Hard Disk Manager 15 Suite

I have been in the software world for 50 years and this piece of software and its manual are among the worst I have ever seen! The manual is so mad that you are better off not looking at it. The product itself is disorganized, not user friendly, and generally useless. You can't be sure what it is doing, or if has done anything correctly. JUST DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK. I AM RETURNING THE PRODUCT.

It backed up the hard drive, but was hard to use, and the backup was useless. My hard drive crashed, and a computer expert couldnot restore it using the backup. I still have it, and I will try backing up to a thumb drive.

Seems to work ok. Only issue is it struggles with backup to usb hard drive connected to wireless router. But so does Macrium Reflect. So maybe the router is the problem. But if you intend to use wireless for backup, be advised.

Solved the problem with combining partitions on the two drives in my RAID system. Worked without difficulty, just took time.

I have been purchasing Windows software since 1991. Well, this is just about the best as it can get. First, you can load either 32-bit program on your computer or 64-bit onto your computer. This will check your hard disk for errors and partition your hard drive with auto alignment better than competitors can do. I consider this software to be an investment. An investment into saving my hard drive from disaster! Soo, I decided NOT to purchase the cheap competitors version and purchase this program. After all it has what the competitors have and support and a lot more. If you don't like it you can always return it. Purchase on Amazon with their guarantee.Update: I finally got around to using their COPY feature. Their copy feature uses VSS or Microsoft Virtual Disk, in order to copy all of the C: drive onto my backup drive E:. My backup drive works on my USB connection. Well, all went exceptionally well and my copy was made in about two (2) hours. All in all this is nothing less than fantastic and well worth what I paid for it.Amazon, thanks again!

totally worthless

It does a lot, but about 15% of what is advertised is either very difficult to use, without adequate documentation, or does not work as expected.

Solid product - was a bit worried about the additional windows patches required. Downloads for these took longer than expected but the product installed without issue. Interface is simple and easy to navigate. Very nice help guide and manual. Very pleased with the software.
