Second time I am ordering from this company Great quality great design

Very easy to setup and use. The knob has a feeling of high quality product and the spring for the knob feel firm. I especially love the fact that I don’t have to carry an extra key in my key chain as I can reuse my current key to lock/unlock it.

I ordered this lock and was able to put it together a few times in about 15 minutes. I had to put it together a few times because I was painting my door as well, so I had to take it apart to paint and then put it back together again. Since I've never installed a lock before, the first time took me about 30 minutes because I installed the middle piece the wrong way and the door would not close. It was easy to figure out my screw up and the second time was much faster. Compared to my old Schlage lock, this lock is much heavier and seems more solid. You can really feel the weight when you grip the knob on both sides. The lock (vertical) and unlock (horizontal) settings are also the opposite of my old Schlage lock, and I can't unlock the door just by turning the knob from the inside, like my old Schlage lock. This will get some getting used to, but it is more secure now that I can't accidentally unlock the door by turning the knob. The look of the lock is really contemporary and simple, which is what I was looking for. I purchased the Milan deadbolt to match the look and so that I can have one key to open both locks. In the future, I am hoping to be able to easily rekey both locks when I rent out my place and switch tenants.

I renovate houses and have made the Pismo knobs my standard. They are super sturdy and have a really nice finish. Yes, they cost a bit more than basic knobs but they are worth it.

So far so good. I installed all new Kwikset SmartKey deadbolts (Milan) and handles (Pismo) on our 1942 home and they match well. There is a very slight difference in sheen between the two finishes but that can likely be attributed to the need for a more durable finish on the handle. Having the ability to rekey all the locks (deadbolt AND handles) to the same key has been a huge plus. Installation went relatively smoothly although I did have to make minor adjustments to the door and frame to accommodate the latch and striker plate. Once installed, the handles and key operation both work smoothly without sticking. They latch consistently and feel secure. The only feature that I would request is the ability to change the orientation of the lock cylinder so that it matches the deadbolt. In my current setup (left-hand inswing) the orientation of the cylinder for the Pismo handle is 180deg from the orientation for the Milan deadbolt. I imagine they would match if used on a right-hand door.

This doorknob is awesome. The locking doorknob between our house and garage broke and that style was no longer available. I took a chance on this model because I liked the looks and features. It’s so easy to grip! It’s very sturdy. Its design makes it nearly impossible to breach. And it has that smart key feature where you can match up several locks to the same key. I’m considering replacing all of our outer doorknobs with this model. But the best thing about Kwikset locks—you can’t go outside and accidentally lock yourself out like you can with those locks where you can still turn the handle from the inside when the knob is locked! I don’t hesitate recommending this doorknob!

I mostly gotIt for looks, this is garage door entry into laundry room. But if someone wanted to break in through a main entrance from outside, it’s easy. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Saw resistant maybe but not a flimsy credit card resistant 😅 Looks nice, feels sturdy but not anymore safe than a regular door knob with lock. This item is easy to install and straight forward. Be careful when handling, the metal is very malleable and dents very effortless around tools. These passageway locks are perfect for what I'm after. I got tired of looking for entire sets of locks for my doors. With these locks, it is possible to set every entry door to use the same key; no locksmith required; no knowledge of setting pins required; just easy to follow instructions. 1- Insert the new key to see if it fits all the way. 2- Insert the key that comes with the lock and turn 90 degrees to open the lock (based off of orientation and installer) 3- Insert the rekeying tool firmly until you feel something move, than remove the rekeying tool. 4- Remove the original key and insert the key you would like to use. 5- Rotate the new key 180 degrees in the opposite direction that you turned to unlock the door initially. 6-Reset the new key by turning it so that it is straight up and down. 7- The lock should now be rekeyed and you can enjoy using 1 key for as many doors as you like.

Really sturdy, feel high quality, noce and heavy and come with the mechanisms all prelubricated, so ots quiet and smooth to operate The lock is a little fiddly but so happy with everything else about it that I don't feel fair docking it a star I paid £15 for another door knob and it was incredibly cheap and nasty, i was surprised at how good this one is for just £6 more
