Fixed my PF pain!
I developed plantar fasciitis after training for and running in a marathon five years ago. At first, both feet were affected so I went to see a podiatrist who fitted me with rigid orthotics. That seemed to help but over the years, the rigidity of the orthotics actually made my PF come back. In January 2011, the PF came back affecting only my left foot. It was very painful taking that first step in the morning. I'm pretty active but do have a desk job and would hobble around most of the day to meetings. I've tried sleeping with a night splint which pretty much feels like wearing a snowboard boot to bed--not the most comfortable. I've also done stretching, icing, etc. but nothing seemed to work.I wanted to see what I could do prior to scheduling an appointment with the podiatrist. Just last week I purchased these Dr. Scholl's Tri-Comfort and also the Dr. Scholls Heel Pain inserts from a local store. The latter lessened the pain a little but not by much. However the TRI-COMFORT inserts practically made the PF in my left foot non-existent in a matter of THREE DAYS!! I was totally amazed! I'm walking normally now and not hobbling around in pain as I have been these past few months. I've since purchased the 3-pairs from Amazon and have put one in each of my shoes that I use most often.Yes, I can see why others complain of the industrial rubbery smell which the TRI-COMFORT does emit when you first open the package, but who the heck cares if they actually work and help you WALK! Being able to walk beats a bad smell in my book any day ;) Besides, after two weeks, the smell has dissipated...The only downer I experienced when I first used the TRI-COMFORT was my shoes were a bit snugger--at the top of the foot/shoe--since you are adding in extra cushion inside your shoes. However, I've fixed the problem by wearing nylons, or socks that aren't so thick. These might not work for everyone, but this is a great product that DEFINITELY worked wonders for me and my PF!

Very nice, but a few drawbacks
I am a size 8.5, and these fit fine in all of my shoes. The issue I find is that they do not perfectly fit my feet, but for this price I'm perfectly willing to overlook that. The biggest drawback is that they don't stay in one spot. Especially with my rubber rainboots, they slide around and generally don't fit well. Fair warning: there is NO support for toes! If that's what you're looking for, don't buy these. If you're going to be on your feet for a while and want some extra support, these are perfect. They are made of some kind of puffy plastic, which squishes well but still supports. There is a plastic support band in the bottom that keeps the arches of my feet from flattening, which causes me serious pain after a while, so I quite like these. Tried them in Vans sneakers and leather boots, and they work like a charm. Rain boots, not so much, but maybe I'll figure out a better deal for those. Overall, a very good purchase. Don't buy if you are on the larger extreme, because they won't fit your feet. On the other hand, don't buy if you are on the smallest extreme of shoe size (6) because they won't fit well in your shoes.

Never get tired of walking when I wear these
I highly recommend getting these inserts! With these in my shoes, I could walk all day without feeling any pain.I was on the fence about this product after reading some of the less than stellar reviews but I'm really glad I bought them. Here are some experiences I've had in response to some of the other reviewers' concerns:It's true that the inserts will move forward in your shoe because of their short length. I haven't found this to be a problem because I just place them all the way back into position right before I put my foot in each time. The insert will stay in place while you're wearing the shoes. It's also true that the arch might be a bit high. I have smaller than normal arches and I'll admit these inserts did pinch a bit at first. Sometimes, I felt like my foot was seesawing over the arch as I walked. But they eventually reshaped themselves and are perfect for my feet now. You just have to wear them. They had a strong rubbery smell at first but that went away quickly.

Solves my shoe discomfort problems
I've been using these for over a year now in several pairs of shoes. These are the only inserts that really made my feet comfortable, and that includes expensive orthotics. If a shoe is slightly uncomfortable, these make them completely comfortable for walking all day. I also use them in flat shoes without a lot of padding to provide some support and cushioning and avoid the cramps I used to experience. If shoes are very uncomfortable, these will not perform miracles, but I wouldn't expect them to. I have a very high arch, which may account for some of my shoe problems, but I have no other foot issues aside from the usual corns and calluses. My 90-year-old mother has an assortment of problems with her feet and she loves the inserts, too. These sometimes won't work if there isn't room for them in your shoe but I haven't run into that problem yet.

Broke down fairly quickly
These inserts provide ample arch support and heel cushioning. I have a foot injury and they make it possible to wear shoes other than sneakers. However, after one week (probably 10 hours of wear), they started to break down; the fabric coating on the top is starting to peal. This might be more prevalent when worn without socks, but I cant say for sure because I put them in flats.I also noticed that they make fart noises (for lack of better way to describe this. Haha You all know what I'm talking about!) when I wear them with flats. It helps if you put baby powder or Gold Bond underneath them, but it does still happen a bit, especially after extended wear. So, maybe not the best product for a middle schooler. Haha.

Fabulous
Can't find these anywhere in the shops so I bought a three pack to last me a while, I put these in all my footwear they give soft comfortable support to the arch, I tried all types of inserts previously because being on my feet all day at work I was in constant pain with my feet other gel types were uncomfortable, noticeable and made my back ache, I will be buying more in the future and they do last, they don't go flat the fabric just eventually wears out.

Dr Scholl's Tri-Comfort Orthotic Inserts
These Tri-comcort Insoles were exactly as expected, having ordered similar inserts in the past, I knew how they worked. These were purchased for wearing inside my house shoes as standing and walking around the house doing housework etc. helps my posture in waking correctly. This in turn stops backache etc. They simply fit into your shoe and as soon as you start walking feel as if you are walking on a cushion, nice and spongy. I would certainly purchase again and can recommend them.

TRI-COMFORT -BEST ORTHOTICS
I have been using these orthotics for several years now as I have Mortons Neuroma in one foot and Plantar Faciitis is the other. They take little room up in shoes and are very comfortable. I could not walk without these orthotics and after trying several other types, most which are hard and uncomfortable I find these are the best for me and would highly recommend

I have been repeatedly buying these and wearing them inside ...
I have been repeatedly buying these and wearing them inside my heeled boots for a few years now. They provide a little extra comfort whilst taking up minimal room. Only gripe is that they aren't cheap, but they do last a few months.
