I ordered this for my 14 year old granddaughter who has been horseback riding for a little over a year. She is absolutely in love with horseback riding. This keepsake journal is well made and has that genuine rustic cowboy look and feel. I highly recommend.

My photos are poor quality, but give you an idea of the book. It is beautiful in person, durable, just feels right.Pros:Actual real leather; not pleather, not cardboard, just leather. Which also means a real leather stamp, which came out perfectly. The locking mechanism is durable metal, works very smoothly and makes accessing and locking the book easy with one finger.The paper is nice and thick, but soft and holds ink and pencil well. Even sharpie has such little bleed you can hardly notice it, most pens have no bleed at all. The pages are well bound with leather strips.The book overall is thick and sturdy, a good size for journaling or small arts. Could probably use watercolors with it.Cons:None

I purchased as a gift for a new church pastor who is fond of horses. The cover is very stiff and feels like cheap plastic. The paper doesn't feel high quality. I was embarrassed to give it to him.

I expected a luxurious dark brown, but it was close to red. A very dark red book is here.

I was very impressed with the quality of this leather journal. I gave it to a 13 yr. old who loves horses, and it's a good age for journaling with all the challenges of the teenage years. It's sturdy, well made, and will last for a long time. I would highly recommend this product!

I just love that it’s genuine leather, not pleather. It seems to be hand made and I love that. Someone put their heart into making it. It is really well made. God bless the hands that made this🤗
