1) To access to the Kaplan on line center offered you need to send an email to [email protected] and they will send you a link.If you go just to the kaplan page you won't be able to access.2) DO NOT buy it from a seller called Super Deal Books because they are located in London and if for any reason you have to return a book TO them they charge you a re stocking fee and you are responsible for shipping charges to U.K3) Kaplan has a huge reputation in high level tests preparation and to me the on line center and the chance to access from my phone as well is a great toll that no other book of this kind offersSo you have not only the 4 tests offered in the book but a lot more through the on line support center.

Very helpful, well organized, and a good guide to get a higher scores.However, the only bad thing I found is the long introduction to reach the real fruits!Other than this everything was perfect.

Best book for teaching and preparing for TOEFL. I've scored 20% higher after studying this book and so my students.I've been teaching thru Skype for the last 6 months with this book, and it seems just nice. It won't teach you English, if you need that, go buy the Cambridge one, but it will teach you to master all the tricks, technics and flaws of the test. I highly recommend it.

Though the delivery of the book was punctual the book itself is not what it is supposed to be. I bought this book in the last week of my preparation for Toefl specifically for the four practice tests that it offers. Experienced lots of technical difficulties in the 2nd test (test got stuck several times and in the speaking section timer begins even before the question is completed), the third test got stuck in the middle of the listening section and after trying for quite some time will not start again. The fourth test is not there at all and the site says "This course asset is coming soon." Complete waste of money. The purpose for which I bought the book is not served at all. I am going to try return the book.

Overly complicated and appears to follow a different structure to that of the people who set the exams.

Trotz des vergleichsweise günstigen Preises ist das Buch meiner Meinung nach für die Vorbereitung völlig nutzlos. Das Buch beschreibt zehn bis zwanzig Strategien, die ohnehin für jeden von vorneherein offensichtlich sein sollten. Dafür werden diese "Strategien" dann aber in jedem der vier Kapitel bis zum Exzess durchdiskutiert (zum Teil ist es sogar ein und derselbe Text in den Kapiteln). Darüber hinaus ist der Schreibstil für ein Lehrbuch, das auch für Nichtmuttersprachler geeignet sein soll, viel zu kompliziert. Die wenigen Übungsbeispiele sind zwar nett und durchaus hilfreich, allerdings habe ich den Eindruck, dass diese vom Niveau deutlich über den Ansprüchen des TOEFL-Tests liegen.Könnte man über die einzelnen Schwächen im Buch noch hinwegschauen, sind die angepriesenen Online-Tests einfach nur ein Witz! Neben der Tatsache, dass nicht alle vier Tests verfügbar sind, sind die verfügbaren Test völlig fehlerbehaftet. Bei den Einsetzaufgaben erscheinen die Kästchen willkürlich im Text, Drag-And-Drop funktioniert überhaupt nicht...Deshalb wie schon von anderen berichtet: HÄNDE WEG VON DIESEM BUCH!!!

Dieses Buch ist nicht zu empfehlen.Ein Großteil des Buchs besteht aus Wiederholungen von "Strategien". Dabei wird nicht ausgelassen bei jedem einzelnen Fragetyp darauf einzugehen, dass sog. Distracter "Falsche Antworten sind, die wie Richtige aussehen...". Gut zu wissen.Die größte Enttäuschung sind allerdings die vier Online-Übungstests:Ende Mai 2014 sind nur zwei der vier Tests verfügbar ("This course asset is coming soon.")! Die Art der Fragen weichen teilweise stark von den TOEFL-Vorgaben ab und bei mehreren Fragen sind Anweisungen falsch oder fehlen. Es kommt auch vor, dass die Lösung bereits angekreuzt ist.Besser klappt die Vorbereitung mit den TOEFL Quick Prep PDFs und dem TOEFL Test Prep Planner. Diese PDFs kann man kostenfrei auf der TOEFL-Website bekommen.

I can't recommend this books.First, online tools are often not working, not only during updating times!Second, there are a lot of mistakes in both the book and the online tools. As it's for proficiency levels, it should be high level English. Since Kaplan states itself as one of the leading test prep companies, they should be able to offer full-length tests without mistakes and missing tasks and wrong countdowns.Third, only few good advices & a lot of repetion. Maybe 10 stategies are explained and repeted thousand times.
