I can only say that this Sennheiser EW100ENGG3A Wireless System is absolutely fantastic.Clear, quality sound.Easy to set up and synch.Easy to choose the strongest signals in different locations.Did I mention the most important feature - Clear, Quality Sound.Because I am the camera person, sound person, editor, and really everything except the talent in front of the camera, I appreciate the huge jump in quality over using any of the other sound options around. It has certainly made my sound editing a pleasure to do instead of a dread.Another tech part of why I'm so pleased with this is that I don't have to be concerned about the batteries as they last for an entire day of shooting. If you want to compare this with my previous options you will have to go back to the earliest videos. They include using a RODE mic, on camera mic, and a cheap lavalier that others have recommended.Update October 6th: I've now used this for 4 months and 25 videos. I now know why this is seen among the gear of so many creative perfectionists, me included.Update March 28, 2014: 60+ videos, live TED Talk type performance, audio books, and even paired with Zoom H6N. Fantastic and absolutely dependable, interference-free, rugged, and versatile.Update November 17, 2015: 165+ videos and still fantastic. Paired with a variety of mics and cameras and recorders and still totally dependable, professional, and easily adaptable to a variety of environments. The reason for putting two stars is not because of the transmission quality, but because of this: right from the start I am experiencing a problem with SKP 100 G3 component being stuck on XLR male input. I tried it on two different microphones. I barely managed to get it off the first microphone. I thought, maybe it's a microphone issue (although never had any problem with it connecting to XLR wire before). But now it's stuck on brand new Behringer XM-8500 mic.First thing that comes to mind: do I have the locking ring in the right position? I can assure, I unscrew it all the way into the unfix direction indicated on the transmitter. So, there should be nothing preventing SKP 100 G3 to come off the microphone easily. However, even with substantial amount of force it doesn't come off. I'm stuck with transmitter on my microphone.I've sent this description of my problem together with transmitter's ident.no. and ser.no. to Sennheiser Nordic support (since I'm from Latvia). That was six days ago - and still no reply. So, for non-detachable transmitter and non-responsive Sennheiser support I give this product two stars. Other than the issues mentioned, feels like a decent piece of equipment.*** UPDATE ***Thanks to a useful comment to this post I've managed to get the thing of the mic. I still think it's too stubborn to get stuck so severely, so I have to use a special object to get it out. Well, that's what I'm gonna do going on forward.

I use this for filming weddings where I may not have any external power. I recently also borrowed a Shure PGX24 lavalier wireless system and used this Sennheiser and another Sennheiser just like this. The audio quality is night and day different (better) with Sennheiser. I also like this particular Sennheiser because of the SKP100 XLR adapter. With this adapter you can basically make any XLR microphone a wireless microphone. (Of course, in some cases you may still need phantom power.) But you can convert something like a Shure SM58 into a wireless immediately with this adapter with excellent results. This is a must-have for video camera work. I was also able to purchase this item Used here on Amazon and got a substantial discount for an excellent product!

So far, these microphones have done a very good job for wedding ceremonies..but the real test will be this summer when I am in more heavily populated areas and more RF to deal with. The manuals do not do a good job of explaining setup, but there are some great YouTube videos that gave me a lot more insight into adjusting the setting on the receiver and transmitter. But their versatility made them stand out also as i use the microphone adapter as a backup to the lavalier.

If your budget allows and you're looking for quality audio, this is your product. Long range with no interference. I like the adjustable output levels of the transmitters and it's a real help if you're using a mic with low output. The XLR output option from the transmitter pack is a nice feature. You can depend on this set. Don't try the $150 wireless sets. Opt for a wired mic instead.

I love them, the microphone transceiver sometimes get stuck on XLR microphones phones. it sound about as good as the g2 I have, its a good basic standard microphone for corporate shoots. I'm sure there high level fidelity microphones and setup that reject more electromagnet interference but I accept and enjoy this kit.

The Sennheiser EW 100 ENG G3 kit is the perfect mix of quality sound, feature set, and price. Anything comparable in performance will cost at least double the price.I now own two sets of this kit on the same channel. Which according to Sennheiser is the best choice for less interference. I know that sounds backward, but correct.
