Buttermilk Powder, 1lb.

I love having this product on hand. I can't tell you how much is saves me both in money and time to be able to mix up whatever amount of buttermilk I need for a recipe. I even add it to my chocolate chip cookies...makes them snappy! I also keep the powder cheese (not sauce)on hand for cheese popcorn and I add a bit with milk to leftover mac and cheese when reheating. My kids can't tell they're left overs. What great money saving products.

It makes good buttermilk, but you have to use a lot of powder to do it. The 1 lb bag goes quickly! I guess I should just buy a quart of buttermilk and waste the rest because that would probably be cheaper.

I sure wish this came in a jar instead of a bag. Most of this had spilled all over the box and I ended up with very little to use. The bags see fragile. This is great in baking. Better than having to go buy a pint of buttermilk to use in a recipe and the rest go bad.

I thought this was going to be a bigger bag. I think I will check out how much they sell the name brand dry ranch mix at the big box store because I was underwhelmed.

Tastes like ordinary milk powder. Every time I've used it where something needs the tartness of buttermilk, the product tastes terrible.

tastes like nonfat dry milk :( I am NOT happy with it.Its good for mixing cheese sauces ect though.

This is such an amazing deal. I make bread all the time and this has come in so handy. Its fresh and works very well. I opened one package and put it in a glass jar with a lid and put it in my ice box is it's always there when I need it. You will not be sorry for buying this item!!!! I will buy again and again!!!!

great product, great price and love the uses for this powder and it keep well in the frig.
