Great product.. Mine arrived in a SHREDDED up/beat up BOX! So, 4 instead of 5 stars.
Granted, the entire product is perfectly fine. But it DID arrive in a box that looked that it was like 5 years old for cripes sake!! CLEARLY a returned product. grr.. That's where this gets the 4.After getting used to the learning curve, this evens out your mix of sounds/instruments, and really brings them out "in front". Was quite cheap for what it is. Be aware, you'll need at least two XLR, or 1/4 cables to connect it. That costs money too..

The Excellence Of Solid Fundamentals
I needed a basic compressor / limiter to connect to a Mackie 1404 mixer to handle live sound for a streaming event. Connected using the channel inserts for 1 & 2, spent 15 minutes setting levels and controls, and hours of flawless operations followed. It's not fancy, and that's the beauty of it. I operate this in a "set and forget" mode time and time again, and it always delivers.
