Works Exactly as Expected
Great hold and super easy to use. This adhesive works really well! The nozzle makes the application simple and clean, and the hold lasts all day without lifting. No strong smell, no mess just does the job. Dries quickly, functionality and Bond strength

Best lace glue for us sweaty ladies!!!!!!
Will forever be my lace glue. Ive been wearing wigs for over 10 years and this is the first time I could find glue that does not wear off after 2 days. For reference I sweat A LOT, I mean A LOT at night its worse. I would get up and wig be lifted. I tried all the glues. This is by far the best. Its challenging to work with but once you get it your wig will be stuck for months. Guess what sis !!! I swam in a poll for 4 days (I used to glue to put edges on my braids) They did not fall off. I had to use the glue remover to get it unstuck. Bottle will last for months. I am writing this in June 2025.

Great for athletes and heavy sweaters
Super strong hold with minimal applications! I needed a strong adhesive because I'm a runner with oily skin and I tend to sweat a lot! I was able to run a full hour in the hot sun, pouring sweat, yet the glue kept its hold and my unit did not budge an inch! I love this stuff! Would definitely recommend and buy again!

This is the only adhesive I trust
This is the only adhesive I trust—strong enough to handle the G-forces of a modern roller coaster (been there, stuck that). Yet, with a little repositioning spray, I can peel it off in days and reapply it later without losing much stick. Way better than tape, which I avoid like glitter at a craft party.

Tough to apply due to stringy-ness, but is still best clear glue for front of hair systems.
UltraHold is very clear and best for front of hair system if applied thinly. It will not turn white in humid weather... however, is does have a tendency to become gooey and needs re-application in the front every 3-4 days. I don't like the 4oz bottles... more than half will become unusable over time so best to find four 1oz glass jars with good seals and break down a new bottle into these containers and the glue will last indefinitely. It will also help to avoid "strings" of glue by giving you a wider opening for a brush to be dipped without touching the sides.

AMAZING CLEAR GLUE. WORTH THE $$
Love this glue. Holds lace really well and doesn’t turn white. 1-2 layers is plenty. I found that more than 3 layers actually makes it so thick that it loses its “sticky-ness” quicker. I sweat A LOT, I don’t wrap my lace overnight or while showering (I’m super careful to not get water on it). This glue will last me a good 5-7 days, without touch ups (with touch ups, it could probably last over 10 days, easily). If I was super careful and wrapped it all the time, just because I sweat so much, it wouldn’t matter. Because the sweat is coming from underneath, it breaks down the glue. Other glues only last 3-4 days max. I honestly don’t mind re-gluing my wig every week. It’s a little bit of a chore to get the glue off the lace. DO NOT use the bold hold lace remover, it ruins lace. It doesn’t wash off, EVER. I get the yellow bottle with a crown on it, on Amazon, for about $6.99-$8.99. It’s really good. Just an oil. Then I use an old towel and I will sit there for about an hour (yes an hour) scraping the glue off. But my lace is pristine, intact, and can be glued again after it dries (obviously you have to wash the oil off).

Good but doesn’t last long
It holds well, but not as long as I expected.the glue works okay for short wear, but after a few days it starts lifting a bit. It’s decent just not very strong for long use

I have been wearing lace wigs for over 12 years now. I have tried many glues and techniques along the way. My hair stylist has been using Walker glue and Walker products for years. Ghost Bond and Bold hold do not compare and they do not hold up in the heat either. Walker glue can hold my wig down for 4 weeks and it feels secure. The others might give me 4 days if I’m lucky. You have to take your time with this glue and it’s really messy. Use a popsicle stick like the other reviews say. I absolutely recommend using this product! Use C2 to remove the glue from the lace for removal to make future applications easier

Excellent adhesion ! You can wear along time and I do love this glue for longevity and it Adheres very quickly ! I like that the most over water based. However...... The Negatives: *Can be very very messy. Definitely purchase the narrow nozzle bottle or get a bottle like it from the dollar store. I like using skinny popsicle sticks to spread. *It takes a lot more effort soaking and picking off to remove from lace than water based glue. *Thus the wear and tear on the lace is harder on it and doesn't last as long *For me, the skin on the back of my neck is way more sensitive so long term wear actually makes it more sensitive and after each application Extremely itchy!! And with prolonged wear I get hive like welts and my skin is raw and red. *My best solution is using Walker tape strips or water based glue on the neck area. *I never have sensativity issues on my Forehead and around the ear areas Because of these negative issues I do tend to reach for water based or walker tape strips more often now a days.
