THE ULTIMATE! Particularly wonderful for Arthritis sufferers. A canned drink is NAKED without it!
Sodas and beer taste best at near-freezing, right? Those flimsy soft koozies really only help keep your hand warm, not your drink cold. This thermocooler is a TANK that truly keeps your drink ICE COLD for hours. At parties, I don't drink my beers for maximum consumption, I drink at regular speed. That means my beer gets lukewarm before I'm done. Then I DO wind up chugging the rest just to get to the next cold one. Not with this beast protecting it from the Texas heat. (However, pro tip: lukewarm beer is best for speed chugging. Source: I went to Rice University, where chugging beer is *literally* a team sport.) EXCELLENT FOR ARTHRITIS SUFFERERS This particular thermocooler (not a silly "koozie") made by Thermos brand has an extra thick firm rubber lip around the top that helps insulate the can (it creates a vacuum you can feel as you slide the drink in) and also makes it easier for me to pick up and grip the drink. I have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, and this is a big bonus. DRINKS STAY COLD UP TO 10 HOURS Most importantly, drinks stay cold for an incredibly long time. 10 hours according to the label on some of mine. I've sipped a can of Coke the next morning that was still pleasantly cold enough to drink, and since I’m talking about Coke, you know that means it was still pretty darn chilly. I use these primarily for soda. I drink way too much Coke; it’s my guiltiest pleasure. These coolers don’t make it easier too limiy my consumption! OLDER MODEL VS NEWER MODEL Now, as I said, I have several of these, and have had them for maybe two years. I initially bought one, thought I left it behind on a trip, replaced it, found it, then bought a few more, so my collection came together piecemeal. I never took the labels off, and (belatedly) I noticed that some say drinks stay cold 3 hours, while others say 10. At some point I assume Thermos improved these dramatically, more than tripling the insulation duration. I just blindly kept reordering from this same listing. Aside from the label though, I can’t tell the difference between the two types. They don’t look or feel any different to me. So I’m glad I didn’t remove the labels (more about them in a sec.) I now use a 10-hour coolers for my daily use and just get out the 3-hour ones for guests. THIS LISTING When you order from this listing, do you get the 10-hour version or the 3-hour? The description doesn’t say anything about specific hours, just “hours”, nor does it show what the product labels look like. It’s bad that it doesn’t specify hours, and I will report that to Amazon. 3 hours vs 10 hours is a big difference and this should say which one you’re getting. ABOUT THE LABELS Let’s talk more about these labels, since most of the bad reviews are about the labels being impossible to remove without going to a lot of trouble and then leaving adhesive and scratches on the cooler. I never bothered to take the labels off, so naturally I never encountered any issue. Honestly, it never even occurred to me that I should take them off. And as it turns out, I’m glad I didn’t, for the various reasons just described. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WITH THE ACTUAL PRODUCT The rubber lip can come off. It gets stuck to the can and come off along with it, and if you’re not paying attention you could accidentally throw it away. It’s not glued onto the metal. I just pull it off the can and slide it back into place. They glue the label on but not the rubber?! Overall, this thermocooler outperforms anything else I’ve tried and at a better price. I don’t care about the label adhesive since I didn’t even think to take it off to begin with. The cooler keeps drinks ice cold and that’s what I want it to do. I never bother with glasses and ice for my sodas anymore!

Awesome can cooler! And a solution for those with glue problems removing the label
Bought 20 of these ~10 years ago. Down to 5 now after friends "borrowed" them over the years. I tried to find replacements on auction sites over that time w/ no luck. Then I see them on a deal-of-the-day here last week & I do a double take - they must have brought them back in response to the Yeti Rambler. My answer to the surprise: I bought >>50<<! Yes 50 - 40 on a first order, & 10 more after I'd thought about it for a while. Blissfully happy! Smaller & easier to use than Yeti Rambler, though the Yeti can keep the contents cold longer. Still this keeps it cold past the time the can is flat so meh. The Yeti is better for bottles though - this is really only meant for 12oz cans. But for cans it is THE best on size and ease of use. Fits fine in my car drink holders & with no screw top to mess with. Just drop in & drink. And MUCH cheaper to buy. For all that, I give it a five star review with 10 years of use to back up that opinion. Now for the glue problem some are seeing. Purchasing 50, I've been able to see the cause: some have labels w weak glue along the entire back of the label. Others have only the ends of the label glued (like on soup cans). For the former, it peals off beautifully - no issues. For the latter, the glue is so strong it bonds to the stainless like solder. That means it's probably a packaging boo boo that's been corrected. But for the unlucky few w the badly glued labels, to remove the stuck on glue, take off the rubber ring on the top of the cooler, and soak the bottom in rubbing alcohol (I used 90%, but 70% should work too). After a minute or two, use a soft plastic dish scrubber and/or paper towel to rub off the glue. It'll take some elbow grease, and you may have to repeat the soak/rub cycle a few times (and make sure the towel/scrubber are designed not to scratch the stainless). First try it may seem like it's not working, but over a few minutes the alcohol works like a champ. Hope this helps! It's worth the effort. The cooler's awesome.

It fits standard soda cans. Better than Yeti in ways.
It's a great koozie. It keeps drinks cold. Sadly, some 12 ounce cans are not standard. Coors cans are a bit loose in there and wobble. If you have a non-standard beer can size get a Yeti that costs more but it has a screw-on top to secure it. If you only drink sodas then you'll probably be fine. The silicon topper ring is nice and grippy and you don't have to remove it to insert or remove cans. Some reviewers complained of impossible to remove labels that come on it from the factory. Perhaps Thermos listened because the label on mine came of with very little trouble and zero glue on the can. Lastly, it's a good can cooler at a reasonable price and superior to foam coolers. But you will be disappointed if your particular can doesn't snug in to the silicon topper like a glove. I think this is mostly for some odd sized beer cans.

Well made
It’s very well-made like most thermos products are. I would definitely say it keeps my drink colder but not like I really want it to. I can’t find the drink coolers that have the blue gel inside that you put in the freezer so I bought this, it’s OK. I will keep it. I think it will work well for beer, but I use it for soda.

this is great. it is designed to fit American soda cans which are 355ml (uk are 330ml) so UK cans are a little short when the go in. I use a clear hair coil bobble in the bottom to raise up UK cans and it works perfectly. This cover helps keep drink cans and small bottles of water cold for longer, which is nice because I sip my drinks rather than chug them down, so my drink stays cold pretty much from the first sip to the last. I put one in my car cup holder for my gym water bottle...keeps the water colder for longer.

a great stubby holder- though actually a can holder. A can of beer fits super snug and the rubberized band around the neck holds the can (and cold) in very efficiently. You can turn upsidedown and the can will stay. Lightweight, strong, it is fantastic. I also bought one of the versions by a different manufacturer that was $10 more and had the screw on top. While they might keep cooler a little longer (untested) the construction of the thermos unit is so much better and slimmer i doubt it, and of course the rubber gripping collar is easier to use that screwing a ring off and on. The thermos has a much better can fit also, very snug as mentioned. Bottles fit a little more loosely in the thermos, longer neck style, I have not tried a glass stubbie. On the side of the unit it states it is designed for 355ml/12 oz cans.
