Just what my son needed.

I like to swap my brake hoses on my bikes to motorcycle style and needed to replace the stock line. This worked perfectly.

Worked when I had to install a rear brake with internal routing in the frame, allowed me to get the perfect length of hose with minimal fuss

I originally posted a great review for this brake hose. I was very happy with the install and it appeared to be a decent product, but after my second ride, it FAILED. the hose cracked in the middle between where it exits my frame and enters the rear triangle. My bike is a Felt - Virtue Nine 1 - Carbon fiber frame and everything is internally routed, so this is a pain to replace. The crack is where the hose needs just a slight amount of flex, like any rear brake hose needs on a full-suspension bike. I'm glad I saw the leak before my 3rd ride or I may not have lived to edit my review. I had bought 2 of these. One as a spare to replace my front hose later. Now I'm returning these and buying Shimano hoses.

Does the job

This does fit shinsno brakes, but the hose material is not as rigid and has significantly more flex than shimano hoses, resulting in squishy feeling brakes and slightly less response. You can see the hose flex and expand whenever the brakes are actuated. Functional but not the best.
