Before purchasing this set, I had never held an airbrush in my hands before, so this review is from somebody who started out as an absolute beginner and has been using these brushes and compressor for several months. To start, the compressor works fine for painting plastic models. As long as you make sure to properly thin your paint (something I had to learn the hard way) they all work pretty well. Adjusting the pressure is possible, but just note that the regulator on the compressor seems to be pretty cheap and it's really not great at setting and holding a specific pressure. I've found that adjusting it and doing a couple test sprays with the brush has been the best way to get the exact pressure I want. Also, the instructions on setting the pressure weren't great, but it's really pretty easy to figure out. As far as the three brushes go, I started out using the single-action E91 siphon fed brush (the black colored brush). Granted, I was a complete beginner, so it was fairly difficult for me to get good results initially, and I got pretty frustrated. So, I decided to try learning how to use one of the double-action brushes (started with the G22) and boy was I glad I did. The E-91 is certainly simpler to use since it's only a single action brush, but if you're new at this, take the time to learn how to use a double-action brush - I promise you'll never want to use the E91 ever again! The G22 brush is a great all-around brush. The paint cup holds enough paint to use it for a relatively larger application of a single color of paint, but it also has enough detail control to do some fairly nice detail work. It covers a lot of ground and has become my work-horse airbrush because of it's overall versatility. The G25 is great for doing fine detail work. You can get a much finer line with the G25 than you can with either the E91 or G22. Keep in mind that the paint cup on the G25 is small, so you're probably never going to want to use it for large paint coverage applications. And there's no cap on the paint cup, so you have to be somewhat careful. For the money, if you can find a kit that just offers the G22 and the compressor, that would be a great starter kit. You can get enough detail with the G22 as well as use it for broader coverage, that it is a great middle-of the road brush. If I were to give ratings for each brush, I'd give the E91 two stars, the G22 five stars, and the G25 four stars. The only minor issues I ran into were that the G25 didn't function properly out of the box and required some adjustments to the needle and needle stroke limiter. Unfortunately the instructions that were included didn't do much to help me figure out the problem, but a quick search on YouTube did the trick and I found several tutorials on how to fix it - now it works perfectly!

So before anything else... I'm pretty sure that they are pre owned box sets. That being said, mine was complete and undamaged. About the compressor; it had a few scratches but worked like a charm. About as loud as an AC unit. Easy to drown out and forget it's on. The pressure adjust dial has a "lock on this setting" feature that is easily missed and quite tough to disable. Once disabled it's easy to adjust the pressure and I'd really recommend studying the machine as I've noticed a lot of other reviews claim it came broken but I think they just didn't notice the dial lock. Quite hard to miss unless you're looking for it. Also has a water trap built in. Seems easy to drain, only time and humidity will tell if I need that. On the hose; it comes with one braided hose. Feels really nice! Quite a quality feel and works great. Good length to keep the compressor on the floor and work on my desk comfortably. (Keep it on the floor for sound and just in case I knock it over it won't fall 3 feet and break) On the airbrushes; as I mainly purchased this kit to paint Warhammer miniatures and the like... I shall be talking about it's performance in that regard. Also, because of it being mainly used for that reason, I didn't use the bottom fed airbrush as I need to change paints quite quickly and frequently and a jar just isn't as effective. The G22 and G25 airbrushes that came with this kit surprised me. The quality and heft feel good in my hand. The first thing I did when I got them out was take them apart, clean them with airbrush cleaner and (most importantly) oil pretty much everything. I disassembled it gently, cleaned it throughout, oiled every fit and joint, oiled the screw parts, oiled the needle, reassembled it and ran cleaner through the cup to clear it of excess oil and then ran water to ready it for paint. Worked flawlessly, no squeaks or scraping parts. I will say it's important to practice how accurate you can be with the spray as you seldom full blast the paint out. A few good youtube videos on how to use them properly is best. I ran diluted acrilic paints through it with no issues or dry tip. Probably because I oiled the needle first, maybe because I run air after every paint spray so no paint stays on the tip. Ran primer through it as well, no issues. Primes like a dream. It's an excellent starting point for a beginner. The brushes aren't $200 iwata quality like everyone everywhere kept telling me to buy, but they work for the job I needed them for spectacularly. Very fun and easy to prime and zenithal highlight. Very easy to get great gradients in paint schemes and have models look amazing. Very quick to dry paints. Sometimes I just ran air and helped speed up the process of drying coats of paint applied with a regular brush. I can definitely learn and make mistakes with these before upgrading later down the road that won't be so costly. If you break or bend the needle, a replacement is $10. If you accidentally clog a piece, the airbrush is only $25. If you break one and need to keep painting that day, it comes with 2 others that will work until you get a replacement. It's great. Quite friendly towards all beginners and mini painters. The compressor alone is worth the money. The G22 and 25 are just a bonus to learn with. I had great luck with my order. Everything came as advertised and worked like a charm. Still cleaned and oiled the brushes first. Compressor can continue to be used as I get better and upgrade to a higher quality airbrush. Most importantly, for the money, it's worth every penny.

I have beat the crap out of this compressor and it's still working after like 7 years! the brushes themselves are ok, nothing special, but the compressor is amazing! I broke off the feet, and the brush holders so it leans and looks horrible, but that was all my fault. This thing is a tank lol.

I'm doing wood carving and find this package has worked very well for me. Love the Airbrush and and Compressor. Very Quite in my opinion. Highly recommend this package to any beginner.

Works well but can clog and tends to get a bit messy when trying to take spray gun cap off. Maybe a scew cap would be better ?

I give the compressor 5 stars. Quiet and easy operation. It comes as a 110v so I was required to get a transformer from 220v. The airbrushes are not quality and may get you frustrated. The triggers are not comfortable. The gravity brushes have rough and squared paint feed chambers so very difficult to clean. Paint easily gets trapped and dried so each use requires thorough cleaning or you will get clogs. I spent more time in airbrush tweeking and paint thinning than I did painting. I recommend just purchasing a quality air compressor and better airbrushes. Again, the Master air compressor is great but the brushes may make a beginner toss the hobby out of frustration. Pay more upfront because you will pay more later.
