This book is a comprehensive guide to instrument repair geared towards band directors under a budget. It helps you understand the form and function of the instrument and it's parts, as well as provide a detailed method of fixing problems on the spot. I found this book quite helpful because it has all the information in one place and helps to save directors just a bit of change. Don't get me wrong - much, if not most, repair work should be sent to a professional, but you just can't beat these easy fixes. I would highly recommend any band director to add this book to their arsenal of information. You will save some serious cash! Can't wait for part two.
