Posable Cedar Garden Figure

I have not put this scare crow kit together yet, however I opened the box to see what was going to be involved. For what you get, a few sticks of wood that you screw together and a burlap bag, the price I paid of over $33.00 seems pretty high. I have to provide all clothing and accessories that will actually create the scare crow effect, which I knew prior to ordering. A couple pieces of scrap wood nailed together like a cross would probably work just as well. All that said, I ordered the scare crow kit because I need something to keep wild geese off my lawn where they leave an awful mess and damage my grass. If the completed scare crow kit can accomplish that goal, then it will be worth the purchase price.

This kit did not come with Directions and the pieces that hold the body together are loose and not fitted properly... Needed additional items from my husbands garage to complete assembly... Need to stuff the head and body to hold its shape:) it is extremely cute but not assembly friendly. The straw for around the wrist is cheap and falls apart before you can use and there is no way of tieing it to the wrist it is just to difficult and not well thought out

This was larger then I anticipated, which is not a bad thing. Because the wood is cedar, the wood tends to split if screwed too hard while putting the scarecrow together.

This guy has more personalities than you can imagine - - if you have an imagination. He is a constant at our place and bring a sweet smile to all. Nice to have a base to build on and allows for year round use.

I've had so much enjoyment from this adorable guy! My daughter purchased The Garden Pal for me as a gift. He is standing in a container at my front gate greeting folks that come to see me. The expression on his face is adorable and makes visitors smile and comment. My favorite feature is that I can pose him so he not only waves but holds a basket. I put pinecones and greenery in it at Christmas and will change it to a spring theme soon. I couldn't do this with a couple pieces of scrape wood nailed together like other reviewer suggested. Makes me wonder if they have the same product as it would take considerable time to make the parts for this kit if you had the right tools. The straw cuffs make him very "scarecrow" like so I won't use them until fall. My grandson's birthday is in June and he will join the party dressed like a clown holding the balloon bouquet. Like the description says, there are many possible uses for the Garden Pal and well worth the price.

Goes together in minutes. Looks perfect in the garden. Everything you need to build a scare crow. The kids love dressing him up. Fun Fun Fun.
