I am very choosey about what I put into my body, especially when it comes to things like supplements and probiotics. I had to go on a round of antibiotics recently, which historically cause me to have gastrointestinal issues for months after, so I did some research to see if there was a probiotic with any real evidence to support their claims. The answer is, it's complicated and I think there is some conflict of interest with some studies supporting this particular probiotic, but it's also been more studied than any others that I am aware of. It was however enough to make me give it a try, and honestly I am quite impressed. Normally I start feeling the impacts of antibiotics a few days in, but when I followed the directions and took these each day, I only experienced very mild symptoms. I continues use of these after I finished my course of antibiotics, until I used the entire box, and low and behold I had no lasting symptoms like I normally do. While this is purely anecdotal on my part, I did actually end up using these again for another course of antibiotics that I unfortunately had to go on shortly after the first course, and again I experienced non of my normal symptoms after using these. Take this as you will, do not use my review as a shining endorsement for this product or any other probiotic, but as another data point. Probiotics are still being heavily studied and are slowly becoming more mainstream in the medical world, but I would caution you to not go crazy with them and use them with caution and potentially talk with your doctor on when / how to use them for your individual circumstance.
