4.8/5 stars. Would recommend.
TL:DR. 4.8/5 stars. Would recommend. Worth the money.Android Review.I've tried many android controllers but all have been gimmicky and a waste of money. This controller however, is close to perfection.I use this with my P20 pro and the device fits in it perfectly and has a very nice overall look. It actually looks like a games console when assembled and not just an accessory. The controller is surprisingly light and due to the phone sitting in the centre, the weigh distribution is perfect and comfortable for long gaming sessions, unlike other controllers on the market, which clip the phone above the controller making it top heavy. It feels very much like a N switch in portable mode with its layout, but due to its weight and longer ergonomic grips, I find its actually a lot more comfortable, and doesn't make my fingers go numb over time like the N switch does. The buttons are very responsive and clicky, they don't have that 'dampness' that you often find with cheap controllers. The triggers have a small amount of travel before clicking and are curved to prevent finger slippage, I find the small amount of travel is just enough to add a bit of pressure before squeezing for a shot. The analogue sticks are almost completely identical to the N switches. They work well enough and are responsive, however don't expect professional precision. I use this controller for PUBG a lot and found the controller works best when combined with gyro aiming, using the analogue sticks to aim at the target then using the gyro sensor with a high sensitivity to quickly line up the shot, which sounds a bit complex but it actually feels very natural. The charging port is well position at the bottom of the right grip and won't get in the way. There are 2 ways of connecting this to your phone (android). One is direct play and the other is HID mode.Connecting in direct play allows you to use the included software to map buttons to 'on screen' presses. A few things to note which took me a little while to figure out. When mapping buttons yourself, after saving their positions, they will automatically move slightly to the right, however they still respond as if they were in their original position. I believe this is so you can clearly see where you've placed the button over. Also if you tap the button on the overlay, you'll get more features such as being able to control a skills direction in a moba with an analogue stick whilst holding down the skill button, or setting it so that the second button press is on a different location, such as opening a game menu with 'A' for example, and then changing the second click to close it because the second click is registered above the closing location. The software can be rather complex and confusing if your not very tech savvy, but everything you need to set this controller up for any game is there.Once you've mapped out the controls for a game, you can save it to the controller itself as it can hold up to 4 profiles (changeable by holding H and a dpad direction, and indicated by the Led light). When you connect the controller in HID, it acts as an input device, meaning you can control androids menus with it. It also means that every button can be mapped to software. I've spent a lot of time using this for the Ppsspp emulator, which surprisingly, I didn't even have to configure. Every button was already mapped to a PSP controller and the L2 and R2 buttons were configured for speeding up and slowing down games. I've also used this for GBA and NDS emulators which it also handles perfectly. To round up this review, I have to point out a few negatives, although they are very minor.1)For the controller to switch between HID and direct input mode, you need to make your phone 'forget' the controller and then 'scan' for it again before reconnecting the controller in the new mode, the controller often doesn't respond properly if you simply just switch the controllers mode and then reconnect it without adding it as a 'new' device. This does however only take less than a minute to do.2) The controller powers off if unused for 5 minutes. It does however reconnect instantly when powered back on. Just something to bare in mind if watching a long cut scene.3) Can't charge the phone when using the controller, but to be honest, given the controllers design, it would be asking for too much.Overall I'm very happy with the product and now use my phone for gaming more than my switch! An amazing gaming experience, perfect for emulators and android games if your willing to take the time to map the controls. If your thinking about buying this, just do it, you won't regret it.I paid £24 when I purchased this but even at its current price £30, its an absolute steal considering how well made it is.Thanks for reading, hope this helps!

comfortable and compact, but needs some tweaking
Please note: I have used the controller for about 10 hours so far on an Honor 8X.I love the design and idea of this controller. However, there are a couple of things that I don't like. Here's a quick run-down based on my experience:-Likes-- great battery life (actually hasn't died once yet, as of writing this review)- comfortable and grippy- fits my Honor 8X (it's a tall phone)- most of the buttons are easy to reach, press, and are responsive- looks great- fairly priced- little latency (Bluetooth)-dislikes-- stretching mechanism feels/sounds a little cheap and bows inward slightly when expanded- left trigger stopped working properly after a couple of hours and only responds when at a specific area of the trigger- D-Pad buttons are connected together, as opposed to each button being separate- the triggers are just larger buttons, as opposed to gradual triggers seen on all Xbox controllers (not ideal for racing games)Conclusion:Despite many of its flaws, I still love the convenience of being able to put almost any mobile device in this controller and start playing. I mostly use it for Minecraft, which requires no button mapping/setup.I hope this review helps you decide whether or not to buy this controllerThank you :)

Ease of setup / use and good battery life.
Nintendo Switch-style controller for an Android / IOS device :) easy to setup by pairing through bluetooth to your device. Various games available on the relevant app stores. Charges via supplied USB cable. Image shows a Samsung Note4 with a chunky cover, the controller will fit a slightly bigger device. Very pleased with my purchase.

Very nice controller!
Very good controller! I use this for playing emulators on my android phone and a bit of PUBG mobile too. Takes some setting up as the instructions aren't too clear, it has 3 options where 2 emulate screen presses for IOS or Android using a third party app called Shooting Plus v3, the third acts like a bluetooth controller for Android. One criticism would be that the sticks are a little sensitive and the instructions aren't clear enough. Don't mind the 1 star reviews, they didn't have the patience. It seems like they updated the controller recently and it looks much better with much clearer buttons to switch between IOS and Android. I recommend this controller a lot!

Amazing but complex!
This is an amazing controller! It feels like I’m holding a PSP. Smooth controls and feels great in your hand!I would recommended this product, however if you are going to buy this then I recommend that you be very tech savvy because it’s really difficult to get the controller to work with different games, but once you understand how it works and the concept of it, then you’ll start to be able to get games to work.

Broken after a few months. Rubbish.
DO NOT BUY. Battery has gone after only a few months of use. Can still be played with usb but that defeats the purpose. Also the inability to use it as normal Bluetooth controller makes this product a good looking but useless product. I regret buying it.

Good design, comfortable but Fragil
Good design, comfortable but Fragil. the controls are very good an responsive but unfortunately it has develop an issue with R2 and L2 buttonsand didn't even use the controller that much so I will give it a 2 stars on quality , the controller stretches quite large so will accommodate large phones even with protection cover, I wish quality was better
