Good Sound, Easy Set Up!
I bought this speaker to use with my iPhone in a large bathroom. It replaced a very nice Altec Lansing computer speaker set, but I wanted something cleaner looking, with less wires and the ability to control the music from across the room.I am very pleased.First, aesthetically, it is a very nice looking unit. It is clean, all in one, with just the power cord coming out the back. It blends in very nicely on the countertop and is stylish enough to use almost anywhere. The power cord is long enough that it can be placed a bit away from the power source, if necessary.Next, set up... Easy. I mean really easy...1) Plug it in and press the power button.2) Hold the bluetooth connect button on top of the unit for 3 seconds until the light flashes blue.3) On the bluetooth settings in the iPhone, select "Creative D200"That's it. No codes to enter, nothing else to do but enjoy your music.Bluetooth is supposed to be line of sight, but once connected, I am able to walk around my entire house with my phone, and the speakers work flawlessly through multiple walls. To reconnect after leaving the house with the phone, I simply press the Bluetooth connect button on the speaker one time, and it's back on. No skipping, no lost connections. It works perfect. Volume is controlled either by the buttons on the speakers or remotely by the phone. I recommend turning the volume up full on the speakers and then controlling the volume from the phone.Lastly... the sound. Excellent! I am very pleased with the sound. It is rich, loud, and full. It has more bass than the Altec Lansing speakers that I replaced. The sound easily fills the room that I have it in, and then some. There is no real distortion, even at high volume levels. It sounds as good (to my amateur ears) as some of the more expensive speakers I have in my house. For the price I paid ($69), I am thrilled. This is exactly what I needed. I can now listen to music in the shower, in the bathtub, or I can get lost in a song while I'm sitting on the throne.

As good as it can get for the value!
I've been anxiously waiting for this type of a product, to fill music in the room without wires. After doing some research, I've decided to order the D100. Immediately after, I noticed the D200 and cancelled the D100 order. One particular aspect that caught my eye was the AptX audio codec that it supports. I'm not an expert by any means, but I went for the upgrade for that, it's larger size and sleeker design. The unit was plug and play and very easy to setup and pair with my devices. I've used it with my Google Nexus tablet, which is bluetooth enabled and my Laptop, which required an additional purchase of an usb bluetooth adapter ($15). But both worked and paired to the D200 flawlessly. The sound quality is very good and it fills the room. The quality can be relative based on your particular need.I had to deduct a star mainly because it doesn't include a rechargeable battery, nor the use of regular batteries like the D100. Isn't this supposed to be an upgrade? I normally wouldn't make this deduction, but most other speakers at this level and price range have them. There are a few minor inconveniences to note. One, the power button, which is located on the back. It has no business being there. Two, the buttons on the top (bluetooth, +/- volume), which appear to be on the same level as the surface and you can't easily tell if you are pressing on them or not. It's not a major inconvenience, but it's noticeable. Three, when the unit is turned on, the volume seems to default back to a very low setting, requiring you to turn it up and then control the volume from your paired device. Your paired device can always reduce the volume; however, cannot increase it beyond the D200's volume; therefore, it's easier if the default is set higher or left at the same setting when it was turned off. But that doesn't appear to be the case. Lastly, I've heard concerns about their longevity, but I can't ding them for that, not until I experience it for myself.Could the D200 be better? Absolutely! Incorporate rechargeable battery, a remote control and left/right satellite speakers that are completely wireless.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the product. It's sturdy and sleek and gives me the flexibility to listen to my music from a centrally located speaker without wires. It offers good quality sound and fills the room. It's a great value for the money!
