I purchased both the "Arkon Large Tablet Long Arm Windshield Suction Mount" and the "Arkon Heavy Duty Car or Truck Seat Rail Tablet Mount". One to hold my phone and the other a work tablet. I didn't realize one of them came with the phone mount already (don't remember which one). But, I opted to keep this as a spare. Arkon makes very good products, but as with any product the plastic pieces are the ones that wear out first. This particular item is paired with the windshield mount and works great. It was a little on the strong side at first, but after 3 weeks has become easier to get the phone in and out. However, it still hold the phone tight and without extra wobble!! I strongly recommend the windshield mount for a phone (haven't used with a tablet). It's larger than most phone holders, somewhat uglier if you listen to my wife, but works flawlessly!! I personally don't care what it looks like as long as it does the job!!

Been using Arkon mounts for years. Have one in the Truck, one in the wife's car, give them to the kids as gifts. Recently the style I had in the truck weakened after many years and became prone to the phone bouncing out over bumps in rough ride of the truck. This one is a great improvement. Holds the phone super tight. Fit right on the same floor mount. Two minutes to swap and good to go.

Use this on my subaru wrx. I purchased a custom indash mount specific to my vehicle so that I can have a bracket for this ARON Phone Holder right on my cars dash board. The phone holder is great for larger phones. I initially had the smaller "Arkon Slim-Grip Smartphone Holder for Apple iPhone 5 5S 4S 4 3GS Apple iPod touch and 7 inch Tablets" that fit my Samsung Galaxy Nexus but then I upgraded to a Motorola Droid Turbo and needed this ARKON instead. PROS: - Nice slim, minimalist design. I am all about simplistic and minimalist design. I like my car to be neat and look as close to stock as possible and this mount definitely meets my criteria. It is subtle and isnt too much of an eyesore when the phone is in place. However, when it is empty, the support legs are a bit ugly in my opinion but they obviously hold the phone in place. - Smooth spring-loaded support legs. The bottom support legs can slide down with a push and is it what holds the phone in place with the spring-action that pulls the bottom support legs back up. It is a nice fluid motion and makes it very easy to quickly load your phone into place. It is a good idea to make sure your phone will fit. My Droid turbo is about 5.75" H x 3" W x 0.5" thick with its case on. It is a pretty large phone. This product comes with short support legs and long support legs to help with the size of the phone and more importantly the thickness of the phone. CONS: - The Support Legs: This is all made out of plastic. The plastic backing isnt so much an issue. However, it'd be great if the support legs were a bit stronger. I haven't had an issue with these in particular, but the support legs on my smaller ARKON smartphone holder snapped on me multiple times. I had that smaller ARKON holder for about a year when those pieces would break on me. Compared to that smaller one, this one does seem a bit sturdier and they dont slide around as much. It seems the pieces have been manufactured with tighter tolerances so that the support legs that slide into the back groove stay in place. I have only had this for about 4 months but so far so good. no sliding or snapping of any pieces.

I'm actually impressed. I've had an Arkon floor mount for years, it never got used as intended and was just collecting dust. So, dusted it off and realized I needed a way to attach my phone, and gave this a shot. It was really, really tight at first and still is a touch tight, but it holds the phone solidly, and overall quality is great. I was worried that it'd be hard to get my phone in and out as I do deliveries and pull my phone out 50+ times a day, but it's not too hard to put it in, and it's holding up fine.

Love this holder, Got 2 Hummers H3 I made a behind dash mounting brackets right in front of your viewing area so your eyes are not to far off the road. And they work very well. I like the fact there no buttons to push to release the phone just push down . And the different mounting hardware that come with it. I have the ball mount on the back so you can adjust it to keep the phone at a nice view, this holder will hold my Note4, Samsung tab 7 inch and 8 inch without changing anything. Very well built. Will be buying more for our other rides. I also have the floor mount of this in my Hummer so I can have my tablet right there.

I purchased this about 6 months ago and the upper and lower pegs have already broken. I bought it to replace the phone bracket part of part of a complete Arkon windshield mount, that was fairly new when the pegs started snapping off. It has become a problem with these Arkon mounts. I have been using them for years, and I've sold at least four other people on them. The original mounts would give several years of service without any problems. More recently the upper and lower pegs have started breaking in a short period of time. On one hand I don't know of a phone mount that I like better. On the other hand, I'm definitely can't recommend it anymore.

This is my 2nd one, using as a tab holder in my vehicle for 5/6 years.

Easy to use & robust

You will definitely not purchase this product for its looks, but it works perfectly with my iPhone 7 Plus holding it steady at the correct angle especially for navigation.

I bought the SM060-2 “Arkon phone and midsize tablet holder” to attach to the end of a TAB804 “Arkon heavy duty 10” desk clamp” so I could mount my phone to my wheelchair. The phone holder has the same attachment as the larger tablet holder and can simply be swapped over to secure to the main arm of the stand. The spring-loaded holder grips the phone securely and the rubber on the legs prevents the phone slipping. Although the holder grips the phone securely it is still easy to put the phone in and take it out of the stand. I have recently upgraded my phone to a larger one and the legs can be swapped out and adjusted to suit the size of the phone. The legs are also positioned well to avoid them resting on any of the buttons on the phone. Arkon products may be more expensive than others, but in my opinion the quality and design are far superior, more reliable, and will last much longer, making them worth the higher price.

Funciona perfecto con mi Nexus 6 aún con un bumper. Se ajusta perfectamente sin dañar el teléfono. Ya he adquirido antes productos de esta marca y son bastante buenos, de hecho este producto requiere la base que de fija en el tablero o parabrisas que no se incluye, pero yo ya la había adquirido anteriormente. Si tienes un phablet este aditamento es ideal siempre y cuando tengas o adquieras adicionalmente el soporte para fijarlo en el tablero/parabrisas.
