Works well but could be engineered better.
Did not like engineering quality as the product felt cheap. Did not like the fact that there is one connection for live and neutral but two separate earths. This requires a separate earth wire to earth the second socket and two earths to the metal back box. The holes for the wire are smaller that standard 13amp sockets so fitting all this on a ring main is difficult.BT Router used and had to be set to separate 2.4g and 5g channels to connect which is that same when connecting all Smart Life plugs, thermostat, etc., but works fine when reset to normal.I have two of these sockets (second purchased after assessing the first) that work well with no subsequent communication issues. Can control through the Smart Life app and Echo devices. Smart Life shows a socket icon when selected reveals a drop down menu for each socket. Alexa is better because you only have to say the name you have given an individual plug, e.g., 'Television'.Aesthetically more pleasing that wifi plugs. If a known electrical manufacturer made these, e.g., MK, I would certainly be willing to pay more and change these for a better quality device. Until then these are my best option.

More crap from china doesnt work and getting the runaround from seller trying to return.. will have to claim back thru credit card ...caveat emptor...!!!
