I use this to add back minerals the plants remove from my soil, keeping them healthy. I believe it helps fragrant plants smell even better, as well. I use it on all my fragrant plants, both hanging plants (Helioptrope), and in-ground plants: Flowering Tobacco, Purple Coneflower, Lonicera periclymenum, American Elderberry, Hoptree, Sweet Joe Pye Weed, Clustered Mountain mint, Bee Balm, 'Fragrant Rose' daffodil, Swamp Milkweed, Purple Giant Hyssop, American Linden, Summersweet, Fothergilla, Virginia Sweertspire, American Wisteria, and Lilac.
