I absolutely love the Gillette Venus ComfortGlide White Tea razor! This was the worst shave I've ever had hands down. 4-5 cuts, took like half an hour to do a face. The product basically has two bars that set the razor back from the face. You have to press really hard to get the razor into contact with the hair at all. Then the bars produce this weird goo, which is incredibly sticky and stretchy and gets everywhere. This goo plus the hair or stubble you're shaving off mix to completely block the razor head - you have to thoroughly, and I mean thoroughly rinse the razor head each pass. The 1-3mm displacement from the skin surface allows angular displacement, and this combined with the heavy pressure to actually get it in contact leads to a lot of nicks and cuts. The blades aren't dull, but they're dull enough to hear. This is a bath-only razor for producing light stubble on people who have an hour or more to shave a face-sized patch of skin. I see the use cases, but if you're looking for a quick clean shave this ain't it pal. It does smell nice and produce lots of sparkly poofy floaters, which is cool, and one novel feature is this setup causes the hair to rarely jam the razor head.
