Can this be powered via POE?

Ref: "No I'm sorry. In order for the Domotz box not to rely on any other equipment in case of failures, it has its own power supply." How would offering POE prevent a failure? If the switch that the device is plugged into failed, would it matter if it was POE or not? The device would still fail to access the network. And, considering that most network devices or using UPS, it seems it would be a better offering if it was powered by POE in order to cut down on failures.

Are there any credits for the required monthly service included with purchase of the Domotz Box?

No, they don't use the credit system anymore. It is a very inexpensive monthly subscription.
