Perfect portable electric razor
A perfect portable electric razor. Shaves close It's quiet Double A battery power Exactly as advertised This is the exact razor I was looking for. Something small and portable that I didn't have to charge. If it runs low on power I can just pop in a couple of new batteries and I'm good to go. I don't have to keep up with any charging cord or wait for it to charge. It shaves quickly quietly and close. If I don't shave for a couple of days it still shaves close it just takes a little longer which is expected with any razor. It's absolutely easy to clean. It takes 2 seconds to clean daily and about 2 minutes once every couple of weeks to disassemble clean and reassemble. (Comes with a cleaning brush) There's a travel case available on Amazon that fits it perfectly. I'm using this razor as my daily razor and it's doing the same job as the expensive Norelco I had for years, but had to charge. No more charging for me! If you're familiar with Norelco rotary razors then this is probably the travel razor you're looking for. If you're new to rotary razors then this is the most inexpensive quality razor to give a try. In my opinion this a great shaver and like I said, I now use this as my daily razor.

Didn't expect such a close shave with battery power!
This travel shaver is awesome! It is way more powerful than tacshaver and closer shave, too. Runs on (2) AA batteries, but don't let that fool you- it does the job. When the power goes out, I can still have a good shave. I'm so glad it came up as a suggestion on the search. I'd never seen it before. I should buy a few more as gifts. Such a great value for the money.

Excellent for the Money
This is a really good product. The circular blades shave my whiskers as close as any electric. Perfect travel size. Easy to clean. I find it best to go with the grain first, and then against it for optimal closeness. The only drawbacks are that the two blades take slightly longer than a 3 blade model (which is to be expected), and it is battery-operated.

Unexpectedly very nice!
I purchased this for easy travel and the simplicity of replacing AA batteries anywhere. I was not expecting a great shave. To me, it's better than my full size $200 Philips Norelco triple header. I think because it is smaller, it reaches hard to reach crevices like under the nose and around the chin. The first shave or two were a bit itchy, but by day 3, it was smooth sailing. Mine did not come with batteries included, but that was certainly not a deal breaker. It's still new to me, but seems solid, well built and it's a good shave. Just allow a few days for your face to get used to it.

Quiet and efficient
I shaved for about ten years with a Braun that took AA batteries. I even had two. I went to replace the screens (routine, did it a few times, usually in a supermarket aisle), and they've stopped making them. P&G owns Braun. I thought they were pretty smart, but they were not smart enough to offer me a coupon for say $5 on a new Braun. Even $2.50 might have made me at least look at another Braun. So I got this shaver. It is so quiet I was not sure it was even working at first, but contra another reviewer I thought the shave was closer than the Braun. There were no batteries. I called Amazon and said, you should change the advertising, and how about 59c toward some batteries? The guy gave me a $5 credit. Jeff Bezos has more savvy about customer service in one of his toenails than all all of your bank, credit card company, phone carrier, and internet provider have, combined. Update after six weeks: I'll double down on saying this shaves closer than the Braun, and what I didn't know at first--it also has the distinct advantage of not leaving you with a few missed hairs. With the Braun I was always having to take out a blade every couple of days to go back and get those. It might go through the batteries a little faster than the Braun, maybe. Definitely a better shaver overall. This kind of shaver has the advantage that if you're traveling on a continent with 220 voltage you don't need an adapter.

Norelco travel shaver versus Braun M90
I purchased this portable shaver for use during travel as well as the Braun M90 and recently compared them. I was looking for something quite small and compact without giving up 100% of the quality of the shave. I have used a Norelco shaver at home for several decades and prefer the floating radial heads of this brand for a close shave. Unfortunately this portable unit does not have the power nor blades to create a close enough shave no matter which batteries I use in comparison to the portable Braun which does both. It is adequate for touch ups during the day but I don't find it adequate as the sole shaver to use while traveling. The Braun has more power, shaves closer and has some smaller incidental features which make it a better buy such as a better protective head which not only shields the blades, but it prevents the unit from being inadvertently switched on while in your luggage, as well as a built in trimmer and cleaning brush. I'd not purchase this unit again.

Most under-rated razor out there.
Small, light, and a good shave. Perfect for travel, but I also use it every day to trim around my winter beard. Just like what others say: AA batteries last for weeks of daily use. Very nice shave, considering the size, weight, and price; not amazing, but plenty good enough. For full beard shaving, it will take you a little longer than a three-head Norelco, but shaves just as cleanly. Highly recommended for travelers and light daily use.

Stopped working after 9 months
Stopped working after a few uses over a 9 month period. (And yes, I replaced the batteries with new ones). Decent shave when it worked, but wouldn’t buy again.
