OKI DOKI
After a month no complaints. Just be aware the terminal screws for cables are chincey and take great care anytime your using them and the set up instructions for a minimally intuitive pensioner like me from Chinese to English translation are minimally helpful and could be improved.

Love the serial interface
I have two similar Epever charge chargers, one on the sailboat, and one still at home that I am playing with.I found the initial setup to be very easy, and the controller seems to be reliably doing what it is supposed to do. I highly recommend to get at least the MT-50 display. My favorite feature is the serial interface, which allows things like the Epever Elog, Ebox-BLE bluetooth, Ebox Wifi, MT-50 display, and laptop to be connected. Quick note on these devices:MT-50: I like it. It works reliably, has a nice display, and makes it pretty easy to program your controller.Elog: I like it. It logs your data while allowing other devices to read data from the controller. Data can be downloaded for use in spreadsheets or other programs. This is especially nice if you controller is in a remote location.Ebox-BLE: Allows your phone to connect with the free Epever app. Decent.Ebox-Wifi: For use with same app as bluetooth. You need to connect your device (phone/tablet) to it directly so in most cases you can't also be connected to your home network with your device. Despite this down side, it is useful if you don't have bluetooth, want to use your bluetooth for other things, or don't have a wifi network you need to stay connected to (might be the case in an rv/boat - elog will still capture your data while you’re not connectd). If you want to delve a bit, this can be used as a serial-to-tcp interface, but the app will not work in this mode, and there are probably better ways of doing this. But the best part about the serial interface is that Epever kept it simple and standard. Because of this, things work reliably and it is simple for anyone to set up the controller with the MT-50 or app. Equally important, for those who are interested in real-time monitoring and statistics, it is easy to read to data from the controller to do with want you want. Pretty much everyone has their own needs with regard to what they are interested in monitoring, and how they want it displayed, so being able to read data from the controller is a mandatory feature. In my case, I don't have anywhere to place my solar panels to get full sun, but my batteries are critical because they run my bilge pump. Even with partial sun, the controller works very well to keep my batteries charged, and the serial interface allows me to monitor what is going on in a way that suits my needs.

Does not start charging
This 40 amp MPPT Solar Charge Controller works nothing like the 30 amp EVERPERR I used for 5 years.Does not start charging in the morning, I have to turn off the breakers to my solar panels and turn back on.Does not charge on partly cloudy days.Customer support just quotes the manual and does not give an answer as to why.The 30 amp worked in the rain/cloudy days.

Best Charge Controller Ever... EPEVER
Actually have two, replaced this 20A with a 30A. Best Charge Controller Ever!Company support sent me all the addressing protocol for the RS485 port so I could connect an industrial computer to it (PLC). They were simply great, as this is something that is way out of the normal.I have LiFePO4 batteries from AmpereTime, 12V running in parallel and in series for 24V nominal system and it charges them perfectly. The initial programming is a bit awkward at first glance but overall pretty easy.It is critical that LiFePO4 batteries NOT be charged below 32F. This is a rare issue in my crawl space but it can happen and the batteries are way to expensive to ruin by charging them frozen. There is a setting in the charger for both battery high and low temp but the manual did not say whether the charging would be stopped. So I tested it with ice and sure enough it stopped the charging at 0C(32F) and didn't let it start again until it was about 10C(50F).

Works well, except for couple of issues..
I'm using this charge controller with 2x 350W panels in series and 24V lithium bank and has been working very well so far (about 200kW generated so far over past couple months). The modbus serial interface is very useful for remote access.A couple of issues that I've encountered:- The serial port commands will occasionally timeout if the output load is not enabled, or there is no solar power. Multiple tries are needed to eventually work. This doesn't happen on another model that I have (4210N)- The RTC clock drifts about 5-10 seconds per day. It's not an issue for my setup because I use NTP with remote client and can update the clock, but this could be an issue for applications that depend on the timer mode.

Good product could use a revamp
This is a well-built unit. However, if you are buying it to use with a Lithium battery, buy the extra screen or wifi adapter. It will make things much easier as you won't get the Lithium option on the unit itself, and it's a little over-complicated by the manufacturer. Great product well-made but they need to rethink the programming process. USB won't work until the battery is fully charged and your solar is looking for somewhere to dump energy. Making them useless.

Impressive solar controller
I’m really impressed with this. I saw Will Prowse review this on YouTube and it drew my attention to it, I’m upgrading my camper to use a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePo4) battery and needed a new solar controller that has a lithium setting. This certainly does the trick and also has a thermometer to stop charging or discharging the battery at low temperatures. There are a pair of USB charge ports on the face of the controller which makes it convenient for charging phones, pads, etc. The directions indicate that a monitoring cable can be purchased if you wanted to use a computer to really dive into it. I’m pretty impressed for what I got for the money.

Seller does not understand the product.
I am impressed with EPEVER product and company as a whole. The unit I purchased in September of 2021 is a 30A,Triron3210N. I had I running like a song for the fist 5 months with 2-150W panels and fond I needed more input wattage. So I added a third panel to make it 450W. Safely under the 585W PV input capacity. The 30A,Triron3210N SCC ran fine for a couple of weeks till I saw a cloudless clear day. I walked up to the panel and found the 30A battery breaker kicked. And the SCC no longer operational. I contacted EPEVER and discussed the issues. They recommended I contact the seller and get warranty resolution through them.Contacted goland century through Amazon and they told me I broke the charge controller for over wattage. Saying the unit’s capacity is only 390W.The seller clearly doesn’t understand solar charging and was not willing to give.I did however get a full refund through Amazon directly. At the end of the day I went with a less expensive 40A Renogy model from a different seller of course.

Product description not exactly described as the per product.
Product description not exactly the same. Product description says it this MPPT Solar Controller has 7 selections including LiFePO4, which I am using,. Upon arrival both the menu and the the product itself has only 3 (Fld, Gel and Sel+ 1 selections (USR). For LiFePO4 battery end user has to define all the 14 Control Parameters which is a big challenge.

Product being kept up to date
I was very pleased to see an “addition to the manual” page that outlined how to use the new LifePO4 battery settings (no longer have to use the “user” setting or enter a bunch of details. I’m glad they’re updating the firmware.

Bel prodotto veramente. Molti dati anche senza computer o smartphone o comando remoto a filo ( satellite ). Soddisfatto.
